im a mobile mechanic based in Canada, Quebec (We get lots of snow and salt in the winter) and one of my long-time customers owns a 2013 Toyota Venza 2.7L. I did all of the work and maintenance on it since they bought it brand new at the dealership, and as of today its still their daily driver and it has 290xxx Kms (180xxx miles). The only parts that needed to be replaced other than regular maintenance and brakes was the rear SwayBar bushings, and the rear swaybar Links. Other than that, everything is all original, not a single part replaced in the front suspension, not a single blown fuse, no leaks at all. And this is being stored outside and driven in Canadian winters. This toyota venza car is a beast !

That is awesome to hear, I just picked up a 2.7L '09 venza with 175k km here in BC. It's going to Manitoba, I was worried about the harsh winters and rough roads it would have issues with suspension etc.

@@2kCelicaGTS Congrats ! I would recommand you to get it fully inspected by a local mechanic, and also to do a full maintenance regardless of what the previous owner told you (oil, air filter, cabin filter, transmission oil, check serpentine belt, sparkplugs, check engine pulleys for noise, etc).

Thank you for this review. Very detailed. Will definitely have to watch some more as I am shopping for a used vehicle at this time.

This Venza will outlive a Ford Flex 3X over, the ultimate FAMILY vehicle is a vehicle that'll keep driving forever.

We bought a used 2013 Venza LE with around 40,000 miles on it for its mass. My wife drives an hour to work and has been involved in two serious accidents. (not her fault) The first was in a Rav4. As she was beginning to make a left across two lanes, a drunk in a Cherokee blew through the red light and hit the front passenger corner of the car. The Rav just squatted, and the Cherokee went up over the hood and rolled down the road. She was uninjured. The Rave was totaled. The second accident happened in A Toyota Matrix XR as she was cresting a hill and ran into an F150 and another car that had crashed just moments before when one of them was illegally passing on a blind rise. She went partially under the truck with the passenger side front corner. The hood and top of the engine were ripped off. Thankfully, no one was in the passenger seat. They would have been badly hurt. My wife had some glass injuries but was OK overall.
So far, so good with the Venza, and at 170,000 miles, it is impressive. The interior is holding up very well. The four-cylinder and dual cams are plenty of power for me to keep up with the big dogs on the highway or to get out of the way. The exterior is showing only minimal signs of nicks and bruises. We live in the middle of NC, so there are no Winter issues with the car. I was slow to warm up to it. The lines of sight are problematic, and its size took some getting used to after driving Matrix, Cameries, and Corollas. I'm a Toyota junkie because of their reliability and low maintenance costs. I lost my first Tacoma to another drunk driver and have finally gotten another one. I also have a 95 4Runner as a project car. It has just gotten a new engine after 300,000 miles.

Thanks for showing the viewers that the backseat can fit two car seats without any problems. I am thinking about buying a 2013 Venza because I have two children under 5 years old. Do you think grandma will feel comfortable sitting in the middle seat between the two children?

So the best model is one with the 2.7 and no awd ? My fwd '13 Rav4 have an impeccable reliability but I am tired of its rough suspension ( '13 to '16 ) it seems that the '17 & '18 have better suspension comfort .They finally change the spring & shock for those 2 last years .Don’t want to know anything about the last generation Rav4 ( '19 & up ) which is awful with its tacoma front-end . The new Venza is too expensive & anyway now I never buy a brand new car .
