    We made a box out of a sheet of 4 mil coro to catch decals. And 2 small tables from Lowe's to go on each end to hold up the boards. The tables are the perfect height.

    Try using the grid tool in illustrator to create these cuts, the arrows keys let you add and remove lines vertically and horizontally

    That’s awesome! Way better than leaving a gap and then having to punch them out individually.

    That is beautiful. It's like cutting on a guillotine cutter almost. That should speed things up a bunch.

      It's so nice for square and rectangle items. I just need to convince all my customers to do that instead of die cut. I'm not going to win though.

    You've probably mentioned in a previous video but ballpark, what'd that summa cost all total?

    Question: In SummaFlex pro you are able to define order of layers and every cut lines direction. THis chaotic cutting is one step from ripping away all job. Atleast my self 99% of the jobs define first to cut vertical, then horisontal lines...atleast for me i hadnt have any ruined work like that, but had some if it first cuts horisontally and after that vertically. So its been a year for this vid, did you need to/found out how to define cutting line layers so it doesnt do chaotic stuff like that? Thanks.

    • @ttms
      @ttms  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can order the layers, but how it cuts is up to the computer. There is a button you can click and it will optimize the cuts, but I found it usually doesn't save much if any time so I don't worry about it.

      This is what I wish I would have gotten. amzn.to/3E8fKuB I basically have the same thing but paid twice as much locally. My brother has this one and it's awesome and super quiet.

      @@ttmsI did buy a summa flatbed cutter by watching your videos. However I have a problem connecting flexi to goproduce. I contact both companies and they claim in each other for the glitch. Is there anyway you can make a video showing how that process is done or would you mind helping me out if I get in touch with you? Thank you

    I’ve done this on a zund cutter and it works good. But sometimes it will lift an edge and ruin a run.

    • @ttms
      @ttms  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I've had that happen a few times too. Mine usually happens if the front edge isn't down enough. Centers are usually fine.

      Using it for stickers is one thing, but being able to cut banners, foamcore, paper, metal, wood, acrylic, magnets and so many other medias is what makes it worth it. It opens the door to so many different projects that you can't or just don't want to do by hand.
