hi bill !!! aren't switching ops fun ? the u-boats certainly look great, but the REAL highlight of this clip is your genny beer poster !!! for guys like you and me, central and western new yorkers, genny was guzzled down many times, starting with high school days along with an occasional utica club now and then !!! man, "themz wuz the daze", huh ? btw, in this video, it was somewhat difficult to hear your commentary over the u boats roar... any chance of turning down their volume a bit, as your explanation/commentary is the best part of your "show" !! my knee is coming along well and i just ordered several PTF background buildings ( aka pittsburgh train fanatic)... the walthers background buildings were 1/2" thick, which would not allow cars to pass... PTF's are much thinner and will "git her done" !!! be good, bill, and keep those u boats a rollin' denny
Hi Denny, I agree with you, the volume on the locos was kinda high in this video. I'll pay closer attention next time, I appreciate the feedback. My Dad always had a quarter keg of Genny on tap in the spare fridge when I was growing up. And later, I had one in my own house 😁 Hope you have a quick recovery - take care - Bill.
Thanks! The turnouts and switch stands are Micro Engineering code 70. I scratch built the yellow switch stand handles. If you click on the little magnifying glass on my channel and search for switch stand, it will come up.
Nice Ops Bill…like the shots thru the trees…
Thanks Anthony, I'm always looking for a new angle 😄
Lots of power for a single car 😉 great ops session!
Thanks! That's how the prototype does, always 2 locos.
