Love your videos - I watch every one of them. Your work ethic and expertise are an inspiration. Personally, and I might be alone in this regard, I would go without the canned music in the background. To me the sound of guys using their tools is some of the most enjoyable music. The very best to you and your company!
I was a Culligan repair tech and installer in east Tennessee for five years in the 90's and almost lost my life in a crawl space like that one from a brown recluse bite!
Filters I cannot find my filter the well aside it is a big hole that has a Colbert lining. The pressure tank is down there with the filter. Be by that. Or would it be under the house someplace. It is not in the garage. CSJ from Wellington Nevada. Thank you love watching your videos. The water stinks so I’m gonna try to flush it the way you showed me on another video. Thank you again great videos..
Pex A with expansion rings is the way to go. Once you start doing alot of pex. You dont lose flow through the fittings and its cheaper and faster to work with
Know what you mean about the Recluse bite..me too! There is an antidote for this poisoning, but my health care team in CA and in Il didn’t know about it at the time!
I enjoy watching your videos. You do such great and professional work. Keep uploading new videos!! I have a quick question: do you really need a water filter on your line if the water being pumped from the well is clean?
If you add a water filter, you might be surprised how much sediment, rust, and other things there can be in “clean” water. These small amounts of sediments will end up in your appliances and other annoying places if not removed.
I prefer the stainless steel rings because 1 tool will do 1/2",3/4",& 1" . Also the copper rings don't seem to be tight just by looking at them. The SS type are easy to notice if they're tight.
That was a pretty disgusting Big Blue filter, also no shutoffs or bypass valve. Here in the rust belt we tend to have basements nice not having to work in a craw space. I installed a 20" Big Blue sediment filter a number of years ago. We have great well water but had a sand problem so the a gradient sediment filter has worked great.
I cannot get my water pressure above 20. Replaced switch SQ D 35-50, gauge and nipple same result. Air in tank was 18 ,I added air to 28. I can adjust all day long with no results. Turns on at 18 stops at 20. Any ideas?
Turn off the breaker to the pump & see if the pressure gauge drops to 0. If it does, you have a leak in the pipe in the well. If not, then the pumps probably worn out. Either way pulling out the pump/pipe from the well is going to have to happen
Looks like you are using Boshart filters. Is that a 10 inch? And what is the best micron filtration should I use; 10, 20, 50, 100 micron? This always confuses me. Thanks in advance Victoria
Sorry, but the water systems in your area look cheap. Our area code would not allow the systems that you put in. Love the videos for the info, and I get it in your area it's how it's done not being a ass just noticing the difference.

best way to go from 1" pvc pipe to pex. have 1" pvc to tank and from tank until it goes in house. i want to add a filter system under house.
I’d try to relocate that filter to the upstairs space for visibility and ease of changing.
Have you ever thought about using expansion pex aka Pex A

Filters are typically in a crawl space under the home. But you may not have one.

Awesome video thank you
Very great video, i have Just one question,
Whats the brand of the filter you are putting it?
Know what you mean about the Recluse bite..me too!

I would have put a way bigger filter in small filter more changes
I’m in the process of purchasing a home , it doesn’t have a filter, what’s the cost of adding a filter?
Can I put this before the pump in my similar lake water system to extend life of pump?
Hi , was there a chemical reaction with metal bracket. It was cooked.
Great job again young man. Keep it up!
Looks like a point of use filter not a whole house. Also if the filter was in a location that was easy to service and it would get changed more often.
Nice quick fix! You weren't kidding. That filter was nasty!
Do you not take the trash old filter or get bracket off so it doesn’t stab customer in head
Do you like that sort of crimp ring better than a copper crimp ring ,if so why.

@@h2omechanic thanks
How come you did not do the plumbing as nice as you normally do???? Think your filter placement could have been better
Sorry. I would have hung the filter up under the rafters along the wall and had all your plumbing tucked against the wall.

Ayyy! Another video!
which crimper do you use for the pex? can you recommend a good quality one?
I use the SS rings, not the copper kind.
My pex tool is made by Zern (QSECRT)

There is something called elbows and pex tubing needs to be supported every 32 in to be up to code everywhere in the us
Shark bites are not meant to be permanent
Thanks for the video, that was ugly!
