Had Thorias watched the 3rd movie he would have liked this one even less. The 3rd one already felt unnecessary and both protagonists already looked very old for this shit, specially Lawrence, he looked tired, overweight and clumsy. Believe it or not Bad Boys was good because of Michael Bay, it was something about the writing, directing and the way Michael did action, I know it is a meme now, but he got that reputation for a good reason, he knew how to make you excited and have a good time. Bad Boys 1 took itself a bit too serious but it was a good buddy cop thriller. Bad Boys II is so stupid but hella fun to watch, over the top action, with both protagonist at the peak of their physicality and acting performance, not too young, not too old, experienced enough, capable enough to play their action scenes, the sweet spot for any actor when they are in their early 30's. The 3rd one just doesn't have that magic anymore, it is so meh and panders too much to my country Mexico, which I find annoying. That's why I don't have any interest in this one.

Episode 3 is a note to note recap of season 2 , but also it was in season 3 Jean was in fact Madeline because of her long hair instead of her pony tail Episode 4 reminded us about Jubilee s contribution like stopping Jougernaught , helping ice man and so much more Episode 5 reminded us of Master Mold head and how even after the day was saved they still lost one member ( Morph quit but in this case , Gabmbit dead ) Episode 6 is a direct continuation about Charles fate reminded us that Lilandra took him to heal him. It was a strategic mistake for him to return this soon. Why not j@rk us off a bit with an amnesiac Charles but they made it seem like : I know what this is i know how to fix it and all he got was cold and indifference plus Xavier was wrong ! Episode 7 should have skipped Gambit Funeral because seems like we where pushed into another episode and Cable should have returned soon for exposition. Episode 8 is a complete 180 reverse of One man s worth because Bastion now is more important to the future. If Cable is not lying , why not take Bastion future ? It's one thing to have one or two sequels for action films but now everything is a franchise... and it's getting dull and boring. The last few John Wick movies were even rather forgettable, higher body counts but they're trying to replace the plot with action, action, action. I'm just sick of it all. Fast and the furious, 10 of those crap films. Marvel / DC pumping out content instead of movies, thankfully there's not so many of them this year. Is there enough going on in Acolyte to sustain commentary? I listened to some of Disparu's video, and there's just nothing for him to grab ahold of. It's like making fun of 6 year olds playing house. I watched one of the Charlie Hopkinson videos, and he can make it funny by adding his own content and having the context of the characters in past Star Wars stuff. That had a couple good laughs.
They are too old now sad Martin couldn't stay healthy to finish out the series earlier. Was a okay movie actually liked the younger guys doing action scenes.
I was disappointed in most of Martin's comedy in this movie. I want to believe that it was the fault of the writing rather than his own doing. Martin's best moment was his character's "cop's intuition" during the helicopter scene.
I felt like it was a combination of the jokes being bad and the directors just having no comedic instincts and directing Lawrence to act in such a way that made it impossible to get a laugh.
