    Ok, guys, first video with voice, a bit nervous though.
    I apologize if you don't like the 'whisper' style, but I don't want to wake up my kids. :)
    This is a parametric triangular truss that you can easily place on 2 points with adjustable height, profile and beam dimension. It's a bit similar to another one I did before, but the web members of this one will automatically adjust as per the length of this truss.
    You can download this family to have a play:
    drive.google.c...
    If you have any ideas, suggestion or question, please feel free to comment.
    Thank you very much.
    Sorry guys, I just notice that I didn't check the Export Audio option when I upload it onto TH-cam, and I didn't save this video, so this is the only copy I have... Hopefully, this will not happen again. Please downvote gently. :)
    I accidentally published the pivot door video at 12am. Now I have to unlist his and wait until tomorrow midnight. Sorry guys.

    Two-step-forward-one-jump-back tactics can quickly make viewer dizzy. As far as one's ready for the visual break dance experience the lesson would become useful.

    You can upload this same video....after adding voice to it.....just download it and then run it with a screen recorder with your commentary 😇

    genio, lo unico que falta es poder asignarle un level a la familia cuando se carga a un proyecto

      We can probably select the adaptive point and change work plane to an upper level, or any element at that level.

      Yes, you can establish the family according to the level you prefer, but it does not perceive it as a host. When you see it in a schedule it doesn't recognize level.

      Thanks for the feedback. I have noticed that some families, like face-based families, tend to have their own mind and don't always align well with levels.

    Hi thanks for the video. I have one question. Is there any possibilty to tilt this truss?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I think so. You can try to add a rotation angle parameter to the midpoint between those 2 adaptive points.

      @@BINHE615 how to find out schedules or quantities of this truss?

    • @BINHE615
      @BINHE615  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rezwanulhoque117 You can model the individual framing member as a shared adaptive family and load it into the truss family, create a shared reporting parameter for it. Then in the project, create a schedule with that shared parameter , so you will be able to schedule every single member. I will do a quick video if you are not clear.

      Sorry mate, I don't have any older version Revit any more. (2020 is the oldest) Try to follow the video and model it yourself. It's not very hard I believe.
