    why you don't use roof by extrusion instead of mass?

      Yes the roof by extrusion can also be used instead of mass to achieve the exact curved roof.

    I naturally assumed you were going to show a quick and easy way to create a wooden truss not only with coping at member ends but even nail plates and done all in one go not member by member. Nothing wrong with the presentation in itself just very very basic. Something you'd expect to do in sketchup but with the automatisation capabilities of revit I'd expect a no more than 5 seconds to generate trusses off the architectural roof. In fact come to think about it, Plus Spec for Sketchup already does that automatically. Revit should be light-years ahead of them. Oh well, I'll keep looking.
