California vibe is outstanding great ride very entertaining and enjoyable the narration is always good for a get away to good fun and laughter well done, Thank-you Chit never boring loads of fun the one liners are killer.
I've done pretty much the same route on analog bikes, so it's nice to get the perspective of doing this on an e-bike. Looks like they've cleaned up some of the encampments along that stretch where you zig zag off the bridge into Vallejo. And that low-key cut through Vallejo to hug close to the shoreline is one of my favorite parts. It was fun watching you effortlessly get up those couple of climbs because they were so memorable to climb with a regular bike 😁
OH I believe you, that initial hill climb in Vallejo in the neighborhoods is brutal. I think if you stay on Magazine street you can get roughly in the same area without as much climbing but I haven't done that route yet.
The bridge to bridge is an awesome ride, I did the loop earlier this year on my Power Goat V3 only opposite direction, starting/ending in Vallejo but following almost the same route. Oh yeah and those cow patties around Port Costa are no joke, hahaha. Nice job documenting your ride!
Its one of the coolest rides, especially for this area since you wouldn't see most of that terrain unless you went on a boat. I don't know why but doing it the other way around just feels wrong to me! I'm on team clockwise
Dude, you're out of control!!! Some people just don't appreciate our humor and or sarcasm. Sarcasm is life! I'd come up there from Southern California to go on aa good scenic ride. Southern California sucks! I miss Central California.
15:24 Missed a chance to level up your remix joke ("Here's what I call the C&H Sugar Factory remix", etc.), but I'll still watch your videos because they are awesome.
Fun video as always STC. Few questions: (1) Why such a big difference in battery usage between this step star and the five star ? If I heard you correctly, you had 60v left after the ride and your buddy had 57v ? Is it the smaller tires, perhaps bigger batteries, or just new batteries that perhaps don’t deplete as quickly ? (2) The bike looks small for you. How are your knees ? You don’t look like you are getting proper leg extension. The bike looks like it’s made for people shorter than you.
@markborao6144 The step star has 2 batteries, Five Star has one. I was also using the power more liberally than he was. I think the bike fits nice, I don't put the seat up as high as I don't care about full leg extension
@ Got it, thank you. I think I was thinking you had a “dual-star-five-star” vs a “five-star” bike. Too many stars in the company’s naming. I get it now. Be careful on knees…..You are young man but it the not too distant future your knees will thank you if you get proper extension today. Trust me on this one……
I'd love to go on a longer distance ride like that but being stuck having to use PAS 2 or 3 to conserve battery and be limited to 12 or 18 mph seems so boring when i have PAS 4 and 25 mph available but that would use so much more battery, and forget PAS 5 and 30+ that would burn through my battery instantly
@@shootthechit that was a cool ride. Thank you for sharing. I’ve got a 52 V 20 amp e-bike kit on my dual suspension Schwinn. I ride mostly around Mount Diablo and Morgan territory. The other day I checked out the tank and the memorial at where Camp Stoneman was. There is also a little plaque for the victims of the Batton death March who were from this area. I’m always amazed on how empty the trails are that you ride.

So I got a red bike.
