Hi myer welcome to the Philippines and enjoy every spot destination ,beaches ,island tours or city tours ,our best local foods and happy and friendly people you may love here our christmas season .
*Contrary to what your cab driver told you, your hotel is not at the 'city center' it is more like in the inner neighborhoods of Metro Manila. Manila is a city, Metro Manila is a composite of multiple cities (the NCR, National Capital Region). You are in an inner neighborhood. Enjoy exploring Metro Manila, the city centers Makati, Taguig, and BGC, and hopefully, soon, outside of Metro Manila, outside of Luzon, out to the other islands and regions of the beautiful Philippines.*
I understand, i learn this as I go along, this is my first hour in the country. I will have videos showing the business districts of Pasig and BGC. Also will have videos coming where I visit several islands. Thank you for the support!
I love your energy and positivity ... u got no bones that complains at all unlike here in the US... Let me know if you are going to South Africa, would love to join
Hi, Mr. Myer thank you for choosing nest nano suites fort, We appreciated your positive comments in our hotel, God bless you 😇 more travel to come and visit us again 🥰
I am loving this channel. New subscriber here. Welcome to my country. Hope to see more of your videos. How long will you be staying in the Philippines?
I misread I thought I read rooftop hoop and then on second read it was rooftop pool 😁 enjoy Manila enjoy our Christmas season. Visit Intramuros, Luneta, Greenbelt, BGC and SM MOA Enjoy!
Welcome to the Philippines, by the way, the one your staying at is Dapitan its more on neighborhood type its not the center of the Metro Manila, its just a part of the city of Metro Manila, New subscribers here, keep safe and Godbless
Makati is one of the city centers but Guadalupe is the poor part of Makati. You have to go near Ayala Triangle and Greenbelt if you want to see the "downtown' part of Makati
I actually really enjoyed my stay here, and met so many nice people. I will have videos showing the business districts of Pasig and BGC. Thank you for the support!

You entered the PH via one-way ticket? From what I know, visitors are allowed only if they have round-trip tickets because you can only stay for a month without a visa in the PH. Can you confirm this?
If you want to see better hotels and surroundings in the Philippines stay away from $18 hotels. Make It like at least $35 per night and you'll be amazed Sir. There are lots to see, and have more fun in the Philippines.
Tbh I enjoyed being in this area and met a lot of great people! I will have videos that highlight the business districts and large skyscrapers as well. Thanks for the info!
As a local, I second this. What a great find of a hotel for $18 a night. It may not be on a touristy side, but close by business districts (the receptionist saying BGC just one ride away). I guess the same goes to the train station which is the MRT making Makati, and Manila pretty accessible.
Lol Manila rank 10th in the world in Number of Skyscrapers. skyscrapers are the buildings standing 150meters above of about 40floors ups. you area where you staying is not a city center its a local neighborhood trt to roamed MAKATI, BGC, ORTIGAS CENTER, BAY CITY, ROCKWELL, VERTIS NORTH, GREENFIELD, GREENHILLS, CUBAO, FILINVEST CITY ALABANG AND BINONDO YOU WHERE HIGHRISE AND SKYSCRAPERS ARE BEING CONCENTRATED. DONT JUDGE QUICKLY IF YOU NEVER ROAMED THE CITY YET MANILA is 638sq. km land area compare to small KL only 240sq. km.
I understand, i learn this as I go along, this is my first hour in the country. I will have videos showing the business districts of Pasig and BGC. Thank you for the support!
Bro, let him explore. It will take him a long time in the Philippines; you are too defensive; it's only natural; he's a blogger; he'll talk about what his first impression is.
Yes, I have read it too online that the Philippines is the tenth having most skyscrapers globally. I don’t necessarily would believe online BS but if you’d read the same stuff more than once, then I think it’s worth noting.
Even with the small land area KL have the most skyscrapers in SEA and ranking 8th in the world. You have to open your eyes wider and see the greater Kuala Lumpur as the skyscrapers are spreading scattered around it unlike Manila which only concentrated on Makati CBD
Guadalupe I not the center of the City, ayala Makati City is the center also near in Guadalupe is BGC Taguig city the third business district of metro manila, Makati City is first business district and third is Ortigas centre Pasig city....
I understand, i learn this as I go along, this is my first hour in the country. I will have videos showing the business districts of Pasig and BGC. Thank you for the support!
Philippines was a former colony of the US thats why we drive on the left and speak american english. When I was young i like USA but to be honest not anymore this time because of Asian Hate, the government is not good anymore, etc etc. Of course I like americans who are not racist, here in Philippines we are kind to foreigners and treat them like kings and queens. Welcome to my humble country Philippines.
Where is your hotel? Seems like the Grab person is giving you a long drive. Anyway,$20 a night is not bad as long as it is not located in a seedy area. Looks okay to me.
that'sNOT city centre, that's a suburb of Makati.--the first Corporate city in the ASEAN and second to Tokyo. You've been misled. You judged too quickly. The Philippines has tons and tons of skyscrapers but where you are staying is just a suburb. If unhappy, move out. There are dozens and dozens of places outside of Guadaloupe. Metro Manila is comprised of 16 Cities and one municipality. It is a huge metropolitan. KL is smaller. I know because I've been there.
BGC and MAKATI still more vibrant, clean, modern and walkable compare to KL.What makes KL above is there tall iconic skyscrapers with empty people and fund of chinese.
I understand, i learn this as I go along, this is my first hour in the country. I will have videos showing the business districts of Pasig and BGC. Thank you for the support!
Bro your views gone down big time..Ethiopia views were on fire but since then not going good..but u must keep going...to be honest am not feeling your recent contents even tho it comes up on my wall..I mostly skip through it..your doing simple vlogs where u go eat something or a walk about to some where nothing much going on..but your new to this so you will grow to entertain people more..hit up Pakistan them other youtubers go there with little subs n views and leave with 230k subs😅
Guadalupe is not the city centre of Manila. Most taxi drivers in Manila would just talk anything for the sake of talking without even knowing what they’re really talking. 😂
