@@zidni.ilmann On the top menu of Illustrator click on the "Window" menu. Scroll down till you find "Image Trace" click on that to open the floating menu. In the floating menu of Image Trace you will see icons at the top. Hover over the 2 icons at the top left, one will say "Auto-Color" and the other will say "High Color". You will have to adjust the numbers of colors after the image has vectorized in order to see the best results.
Did know about Vectorizer until this video. Vectorizer is practically magic. Adobe Illustrator image tracing seems like it hasn't really improved in 12 years.
CMYK is better for printing but RGB is ok too (the colors may not look correct when printed though so keep that in mind). I post everything in RGB because I can save it as .pngs, CMYK seems to only save in .jpg and that annoys me a lot lol.
sir i just want to ask that is it necessary to vectorize Ai images before uploding it on redbubble ? instead of vectorization, can we upscale our ai image ? if yes, then how much resolution should be to upload our ai images for print on demand
Sadly I pay for Vectorizer in addition to Illustrator because auto trace isn’t as good. What’s $10 more dollars in the sea of subscriptions I already pay for 😂
Thank you...but still adobe is lacking...Still it is "messy" , maybe safe it again and do it over again...Sometimes it gets cleaner. Its a shame that illustrator its a professionel tool....anyways thank you
Is this really "artificial intelligence," though? This feature has been a part of Adobe Illustrator long before artificially intelligent art became a thing...
Hands down the best video explaining all these options for this tool. Thank you!
The 2 left buttons at the top in the image trace feature (Auto-Color and High Color icons) sometimes gives decent results as well.
Wow auto color is pretty good. Never noticed those buttons. Thank you!!
Omg 😮Nice!
where is the button???
i can't find it in my illustrator

Wow 😳 so amazing 😍
Adobe illustrator isn’t cheap either but It's a shame that it doesn’t really do a good job at image tracing
Yeah it's never been the greatest. Not sure why they can't seem to improve it
so, which one is the best to vectorize images?
Thank you very much:) Very well explained:)
Thank you!! 🙂
Is there anyway to vectorise watercolour images from midjourney with out is looking odd?
Maybe if you upscale the image first you can get better result with illustrator
That is a good idea actually. I bet that would get better results. It would slow down Illustrator but probably worth it
@@PhilipAnders I have tried that, It just creates more paths, edges, and colors... making it worse....
Vectorizer is still the best
agreed
thankyou for the video it helps.
Glad it's helpful!
Do u like image tracer or kittl vectorizer? I find kittl loses color when I vectorize.
on redbubble you save files in CMYK or RGB?
CMYK is better for printing but RGB is ok too (the colors may not look correct when printed though so keep that in mind). I post everything in RGB because I can save it as .pngs, CMYK seems to only save in .jpg and that annoys me a lot lol.
Why do my adobe tools is different with yours?
when are they going to improve this feature using AI?
Wow have I been doing this wrong. Thank YOU!!!
Can we use dalle 3 without copyright issues
yes
Please i have a question about MS Copilot , is the images generated with it are free for commercial use ?
Yeah don't tell anyone 😂
Why didn’t see this sooner. I just spent like $10 on Fiverr to have a picture vectorized and pretty sure he used this too.
Hello. Is it better to trace a photo of 2000px x 2000px or 4000 x 4000px? Is DPI more important?
Absolutely - the higher the DPI, the better your results will be.
Thanks so much!
No worries!

yes you can upscale instead of vectorizing. Try and get your files to about 5000 pixels. That covers most POD products
we still like vector and vexel art

What vectorizer do you use?
What app do you use
??
Its not tracing my image. its tracing the outline of the document and giving me a square vector and the actual image I want traced disappears forever.
👍👍👍

the graphic is ai, Image trace is not
