The conference started at 11:30am on Dec.11, 2015 at the Norwegian Nobel Institute, Henrik Ibsens gate 51, Oslo, Norway.

There they are, a lot of "important" people, one of those is small, unknown, humble, holding a pine. All of the others can think they are really great, but the greatest is she.

Aurora's soul is filled with grace and beauty , her heart is always beating for the people in need and her mind is constant worried about the state of the world. You never hear or read more about those who wins medals and honor after a ceremony like this , but you will see and hear more of Aurora the years to come , through her music and lyrics she will give people on this damaged world a serious wake up call ! She is an example to follow for everyone included those besides her on the podium who basks themselves in their own success and don't care about what's happening around them.
Maybe the Norwegian Nobel Peace Committee should consider her as a candidate to the prize in 2-3 years time , because she is changing peoples mind to the better and gives people with struggles and difficulties in their life a ray of light and hope!

Giya Rose same here. The world is cruel and if you don't have the luck to grow up that peaceful and protected like her, then it is very hard for such ppl to make a life in this world. Actually if you can't sing or create great art ppl only see you as "weird" and not as they always talk so nice about her. But still she is inspiring me to get back to my true self a bit more and stand up for who I am. I wish for her the world will not break her like it does with most of the ppl of her kind.
I understand. But don’t forget, you can learn to take off the facade again. I guess it can be really hard, and take very long. I think maybe it’s worth it a try? I felt like I couldn’t do this for years, but growing up a bit, I realized I can, and I feel freer again, like when I was a kid.
I think there are still plenty of people who would call her weird (and plenty who don’t). She calls her fans warriors and weirdos! Bringing a pinecone to such a formal setting is weird. But she does it anyway because she wants to. Weird isn’t so bad if you are comfortable with it.
I think people don’t only like her because she is an artist. By the way she talks and what about, she looks like she’s very in peace with herself, and that’s what makes her likeable. You don’t have to be an artist to be like that.
Don’t look for the answers on the outside or what other people want you to do. Look inside. Aurora does, and look what she’s like :) I don’t think she’s easy to break either! :D

Me too. There was always smth about her that seemed odly familiar to me and I couldn't quite get it until I recently started watching loads of her interviews and I realized: she seems familiar bc she reminds me of myself and who I used to be. But unlike her, I was very unlucky to not be accepted for who I was and got bullied to the point I had to stop all my quirks, change the way I spoke, killed, or at least put to sleep, all the magic I had in me. Seeing her being herself made me miss me so dearly. I'm moving away from everything and everyone I know soon and I hope I can wake the little, magical, innocent me who is sleeping soon, since I'm starting over. I encourage you to try and do the same ❤️

Out of that whole concert, one little girl stood and totally delivered in one of the most memorable performances of all time.
There was a press conference with a bit over half a dozen guests.
One sang songs about revolution and upheaval.
One owned 169 cars.
One prided himself on his scientific mind.
One was a DJ.
One had been in the music business for 30 years.
One had a name so complicated he wouldn't burden anyone with having to spell it.
And one had brought a pine cone.

One of the best female singers I think I’ve ever heard. She doesn’t perform her songs for fame or money like pop artists today, she’s found a release for whatever is troubling her around the world and in her life and we should thank god we are getting to hear her angelic voice and hear her songs and watch her perform. She’s outstanding live and always knocks it out of the park. And she hasn’t got 13 writers composing her songs like Sam smith and many others have. She feels every word she sings.

@@tinzalix8624 That is your opinion but I do feel the need to point it out. The historical data about the pinecone is factual. Now as to the spiritual connection aspect about it, I have experienced it. And I recognize its' significance. Nature reflects a larger universal theme.
Music can and does have multiple meaning(s) on its listeners. That said, we can still enjoy it together. Although you may not find or need a religious meaning in the music, I do find a spiritual one. It seems to me that singing and music does stir the soul. ;)

nerves i’m sure she had, but also, extremely intelligent people fidget a lot, as i’m sure other Aurora fans have seen...i feel the pine cone helps her with this, and it’s a piece of nature, which she is strongly connected with.
The pine cone represents the Pineal Gland. (Third eye-communication with Source). She is in continuous communion with the higher realms! I would guess she is holding it to ground herself. I’m also going to say that she has limited ego; and/or maybe she does not have one? She is a higher evolved being! If you are around her age and resonate with her, you most likely are the same! Thank you as your generation will save the planet!

Everyone is the same. Some lost touch with their childlike personality because of all the responsibility and society and norms and rules and everything. She is just another human being with a very distinct aura and personality also who have not lost her true-self. I hope she does not lose it ever. There is no higher evolved being, stop spreading useless ego-feeding information to feel good about yourself. We do not need to seek out evolved self or try to be a higher being. Just be at peace with yourself and everything. Stop putting up facade. What you just said also a kind of facade. And throughout my life all the people I have met and seen who talk about higher self and evolved beings are all living in a illusion trying to flee from their demons and rejecting their bad sides. Just be true, follow your heart, love yourself and your surrounding, I think that is enough.

A "perfect pinecone" can be a great find if you metaphorically or literally stop to smell the flowers.
Nature can be impressive in many ways, and this may just be one of these very small things that constitutes a whole.

I am autistic, (I am not saying she is) I used to take pine cones with me to class at school to stim, Because they are very stimmi with their shape and texture, and people kept asking me about it and making fun of me and then my teachers would take them away from me because they are “distracting” me... while actually the pinecones were helping me stay focused and keeping me calm from anxieties.
I am happy that she was able to have her pinecone with her and no one making fun or asking her about it. I love her personality, I have been watching her interview for hours now (some even the same several times) I love her music, her personality, and listening to her talking in interviews. I wish I could meet her and be her friend.
(sometimes the other students would take my pinecone and throw it at me really hard, or take it and throw it to each other and run away with it, and they would be laughing at me while I was trying to get it back. It was horrible)
