I have a laserdisc that has these interviews on it... the interviews start right after the animation the laserdisc. They're an extras special and probably were recorded around the time the Ranma 1/2 animation series (which transitioned from a weekly TV series to a higher-quality, bi-monthly series of OVA releases) was winding down. The manga had just recently ended and the anime series was past its peak popularity which is why Ranma 1/2 never had a proper ending episode in animation. (A lot of people have also been very dissatisfied with the ending in the manga, too!) Compared to Urusei Yatsura -- which DID get a proper ending movie (that adopted the last manga story of that series) --, Ranma 1/2 still had a high amount of animation devoted to it. Here's the counts of TV episodes, OVA's, and movies between the two NOT counting music videos or opening/ending animation title compilations for UY versus Ranma 1/2 => TV: 196 vs 161 episodes, 13 versus 12 OVAs, 6 versus 3 movies. Ranma, being the more recent of the two series and being released in the first HUGE wave of home video anime releases in English is the more popular of the two series -- at least in English-speaking areas. (Me? I like 'em both!) The laserdisc itself is basically a 'music video' collection -- a collection of all the opening and closing animations from the Ranma 1/2 Animation OVAs released between about late 1992/early 1993 and about late 1997/early 1998. This includes the opening and ending animation from the 'third Ranma 1/2 movie' (a 30-minute mini-film which was shown on a double feature with another anime short film) which was bundled with the 11 official OVA releases (in the States) that continued the series onward from the end of the second TV series. NOTE that the 2008 Ranma 1/2 special/OVA produced for the 50th Anniversary celebration of Shogakukan (publishing) and Rumiko Takahashi's XXth anniversary with said-publisher is NOT among the titles with opening/ending animation on that laserdisc nor has it been officially licensed for release outside of Japan -- although I wouldn't doubt that Viz WILL license that special and release it with the other OVA's and movies on Blu ray/DVD when they get around to those. Viz just released the second TV series Blu ray set in the US today! I doubt they'll get to the OVAs and movies until mid-2015 at the earliest... A lot of the original Ranma 1/2 voice cast still work in anime productions today. If you watch enough anime -- TV series, OVAs, and movies -- you'll hear Noriko Hidaka (sp? "Akane Tendo"), Kikuo Inoue (sp? "Kasumi Tendo"), and Megumi Hayashibara ("Ranma-chan") pop all over the place from productions like My Neighbor Totoro, the original Gunbuster, Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket, Macross Plus, Ah My Goddess, the Lupin III movies, Paprika (Hayashibara played the title character) and so forth. A couple of Ranma 1/2 voice actors have passed on including the original voice of Kuno (who was also Bright Noa in the Gundam series) and the voice actor for Happosai most recently. BTW, I think that all the opening and ending animation credits on the OVA Music Video were sung by the Ranma 1/2 DoCo/voice actor group. These ladies were probably the best singers of the entire acting group and included the voices of Ranma-female, Akane, Nabiki, Kasumi, and Shampoo. They recorded at last two official DoCo album releases in addition to multiple tracks on the dozen or more Ranma 1/2 vocal albums and BGM releases.
Ah, nostalgia. List of seiyuu making an appearance in this video: Yamaguchi Kappei (Ranma boy); Hayashibara Megumi (Ranma girl); Hidaka Noriko (Akane); Takayama Minami (Nabiki); Inoue Kikuko (Kasumi); Sakuma Rei (Shampoo); Ogata Kenichi (Genma); Nagai Ichirou (Happosai); Asou Miyoko (Cologne); Obayashi Ryuusuke (Soun); Chiba Shigeru (Sasuke Sarugakure); Tsuru Hiromi (Ukyo), Shimazu Saeko (Kodachi), and a couple other faces I couldn't recognize. :( -Inoue Kikuko looks exactly like the same as she did back then, lol. Forever 17. -And Seki-san getting bullied Yama-chan. -All the members of Banana Fritters are here!
I can read little japanese. I studied it as a minor in college. The guy who started the interview is ranma's seiyu, next was Megumi Hayashibara, Ranma-chan's seiyu. Next was Akane, then Nabiki, then Kikuko Inoue, Kasumi's seiyu.
N.H: The oil she loves to use with aroma therapy the most is neroli oil, which is produced from the blossom of a bitter orange tree. An oil that works well as a skin-care for the face. Then she speaks of a kind of sage that helps her sleep better at night. This is followed by how she likes the way that the series is good at releasing stress. Her question for M.T. is what easy and tasty dish she has cooked recently.
K.I: The reason why she seperates the seaweed and the rice is simply because she enjoys being able to experience one onigiri twice. Then she goes on about how fun the performance today is and how she enjoys working on the series. Her question for O.R., while he's a cool guy that says a lot of weird things, is if he's done any other ridiculous roles before.
@dearest88 I'm working on it, but I'm afraid I'll have to wait for my new headphone. ^.^; I'm having a little trouble with understanding what exactly they're saying and I'm not very fond of just writing down a guess. Oh, bustyrandit, no problem and yeah, they do insert a line or two about how fun it is to work on the show, but that's about it.
These are the videos I've been looking for, FOREVER !!! thanks for uploading them Uhm... what do they actually talk about ? I understand like 5 words out of 100. Could anyone translate ?
M.T: o.O a recipe for something...sorry, no idea whatsoever...but please enjoy it. Her question for K.I. is an answer to a little secret of hers, being when she's eating an onigiri, why does she take off the seaweed, eat the riceball, and then eat the seaweed afterwards.
M.H: she believes K.Y asked something he shouldn't have, but what usually happens is she first says she hasn't drunk that much, then gets selfish, steal other people's food or have it fed to her and cause "just this little" bit of trouble. Then she goes on with (dang she talks fast...) that she had fun seeing everyone again. Her question, directed to N.H. who does aroma therapy like herself, is which oil she...bought...loves...something like that. Too dang fast, can't hear the verb correctly.
@bustyrandit Well, it's not subs, but i could tell you a rough description K.Y: Greeting and an introduction, then how he likes the family atmosphere of the series, then he explains that they're asking a question to the next cast member. He had heard an interesting story that M.H. was drunk on a previous event, so he asks what she does when she is drunk.

I hope they’ll be back for the remake…
Boy, you gonna love this...

5:17 Quién más ama a la seiyuu de Kasumi? Era tan bella e inocente tanto como su personaje en el anime
Coming from the future: Welcome back guys! 🎉
Is it just me, or does the actress for Kasumi look Very much like her character?
Eu também acho
Kasumi is the character that earned Kikuko the "onee-chan" image, that's when she started to refer to herself as such

No. Esta entrevista es del 94. Los dialogos que estan siendo grabados son de las OVA's que circularon desde que finalizo la serie hasta 1996.
