That could explain why we were able to see Miriam Sirois was able to attend Anime Expo 2003 when the final DVD came out through Viz. Both she and Richard Cox attended the Ranma After Dark Party held in a bar located in Downtown Disney. When people in the crowd hollered to her and asked her to give a sample of her Akane voice, she screamed in character. She just went, "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!" The crowd loved that. :)
That’s so cool. Even now I try to find interview or anything of her talking because I love Akane’s voice. Does she actually talk like Akane or a bit different?
Very cool upload! It's neat to see the voice actors all together like this! R.I.P. Robert O. Smith! It would've been cool if the original Ranma dropped by the party!
VenusTerzo (2nd female Ranma voice) and Sarah Strange (1st boy Ranma voice) had roles in the long running police drama "DaVinci's Inquest"...Terzo as Vancouver Police Detective Angela Cozmo and Strange as Helen, the office assistant of Medical Examiner Dominic DaVinci (Nicholas Campbell)
Wow... Around that same time frame, Scott McNeil (Principal Kuno) was a Guest of Honor at Nan Desu Kan... ten days after 9/11. I know, because I flew out to Denver from San Francisco to see him there.
@MaDeLeiNe7979 Miriam Sirois (Akane) had moved to Toronto shortly before the series ended. She recorded the last few episodes all at once and then relocated if I remember correctly. So unfortunately she wasn't at the party. Michael Donovan (Ryoga) lives in Los Angeles and had moved away from Vancouver very early in Ranma's production but continued to provide Ryoga's voice.
@mdbaltri This is from the single DVD release. The boxset has actual video interviews with the cast which were filmed while these photographs were taken.
cool cool, i heard though there was a cast extra on the final set, but was this it? No behind the scenes or interviews? Hell, they did this show for so long and all (though if there is something like that, would it possible for u to upload it here?)

I loved Ranma and I absolutely LOVED this voice cast. The best
Yes, we talked to the producer from Viz and he indeed did say it wound up being quite a muted affair given what had happened earlier that morning.

i am big fan for ranma 1/2
and the english dub for this anime is best of best
thanks for good job
Me too but I do prefer Sarah as Ranma other than Richard. Otherwise I love Richard as Inuyasha.

Since Ryoga moved to LA, I might have a chance to find him, lol. They really should finish Ranma 1/2 though...
RIP Robert O. Smith
oh wow, I'd love to see those!
This is such a cute extra!
I wonder if VIZ will include this and the interviews on one of the Blu-ray releases?
Wait, I just noticed in description that this took place on 9/11? Are you kidding me? Must've been a pretty awkward party...
@TheRumicWorld
ah cool cool, dont suppose those interviews wouldve been uploaded on youtube lol?

This party happened on 9/11. I don’t blame the organisers for this. I blame the terrorists.
All the power to them for having a good time.
i wonder if they will all be back for the new ranma/inuyasha also ........first!
