This performance is at the Kennedy Center Honors & one of the recipients was Led Zeppelin who was in the audience. The main performers are sisters Ann Wilson (dark hair - singer) and Nancy Wilson (blonde - acoustic guitar) from the band Heart & Jason Bonham who is the son of the original Led Zeppelin drummer the late John Bonham. The bowler hats were in tribute to Bonham because he always wore one. The courage it must have taken to perform this iconic song in front it's creators is amazing. Ann was 62 when this was performed. Zep is notoriously stingy about giving permission for artists to cover their material and early in Heart's career they did a Zep cover for the encore. Jimmy Page was in the audience & went backstage and talked with Nancy. He told her that Heart had his personal permission to perform any of their music any time. That was HUGE.
