I've listened to several of LLC's stories that have made me misty eyed. This one however had me shedding many tears. This story is the epitome of bittersweet while being a most wonderful and beautiful story. I've given high marks to many of LLC's stories in the past and they all deserved it. This story though, is in a league by itself. Thank you LLC for such a powerful, wonderful albeit extremely bittersweet story.

A moving, compassionate and inspiring story. It brought my own heartache of loss to the surface and brought some personal healing and faith in the goodness that is still there in people. Wish there were more stories of this kind.
The Saddest part of this story is the fact they didn't give him a chance. Just accused him and went after him. I've lived in neighborhoods like this. They go after the people who stay to themselves and are kind people, yet always overlook the real CPs. The real reason they went to apologize was the fact they found out his Is charitable with his money. So if he leaves, so does his cash. People love free money and will put up with monsters to get it.
I knew it was going to be a tearjerker, so it took me a while to decide to listen to this story. But I don't regret it at all, it was a very beautiful and touching one. Thank you LLC!
Omg! I cried throughout most of this. Such a heartbreaking story with a great ending. Henry's journey isn't that unique and there are plenty of men who go through this struggle every day. Good support systems are a blessing and a godsend to those who are suffering. Awesome story.
My waning faith in humanity has been slightly restored. Good people. But one complaint, the screen kept getting blurry off and on. Weird. Excellent LLC.
When I am out in public I don't place my hands on children. I will smile and say things like what is your name or how old are you, but I also respect the adult they are with. The last time I shared a sweet with a child I asked the mother if it was OK. Because I don't like to eat things like that in front of a child. I will ask, if I can't share I will not eat. In the story, Henry should have handled the candy thing differently. There are OVER 23K registered SO's in Virginia (my home) and most likely at least that amount is just not caught yet, the threat is real. I don't agree with what the adults did in this story. It's a shame we live in a world where an adult man is assumed to be a (redacted) simply because he lives alone.
You have to stop those "mske me cry" story at least not in a row. I don't have dry eyes for the last 2 days. But on the other hand, I love those stories of faithfulness to the end. Is there anybody here who have not entertain is box of tissues?
People make mean well and think they're doing good in these situations but not always. Like an idiot I allowed people to drag me out and do the life thing again and I still hate them for it. Now, I can't give up, I have to keep living because now people depend on me. I wish they had f***** off and left me alone when I asked them to
