TH-cam gaming video’s have become a bit of a muchness for me over the past few months, but no matter the subject matter, Jack always manages to capture my interest. I actually think that it’s partly the quality of your videos that is making me lose interest with others on my feed. I don’t know...compared to others you just seem to have a genuine love of the games that you play, whereas others just play games in order to churn out the videos. Looking forward to what you bring us in the coming year.

The fact that soldiers blend in can be frustrating. But honestly, the way to counter it is to just rush less. Play slower and it becomes less of an issue, so I want it to stay as it is. It allows people to actually defend areas by hiding etc. And I don't want the people rushing blindly to get that chance to see me hiding in a bush or other sneeky areas with my sniper or bipod deployed. Instead they should move more carefully, sneak around or just check the area before rushing into caps. When attacking it can be useful as well tbh, move inside/behind bushes etc you can really throw of defenders by being sneaky. And vehicles as well. So yeah....I don't want the visibility to change at all. I like it as it is, all a change to it would bring is faster gameplay. And that's the biggest thing I hated about 3D spotting etc in older titles....it just allows people to not worry about hiding players more or less. It was impossible to be really sneaky, instead it was ADHD gameplay all the way rather than tactical gameplay. And I do NOT want that shit back. There's a franchise called "Call of Duty" for that "fast paced high adrenaline all the time" - gameplay.

But changes to 3D spotting and visibility in general are stuff that requires you to lower the pace a bit because being defensive does become more advantageous. I have been wanting changes to the pacing a long time and with BF5 I'm finally getting them. So I've put a lot of thought into this. And the stuff they change in BF5 will directly affect the pace. Therefore making the game more tactical as well. You can still run around like before, ofc but it is significantly harder (requires more skill, perception, tactics and game-sense) and that's cool with me. Was a bit too much "ramboing" before. Or it was too easy/effective rather. About time they took a step back on that ^^

@@warshepard2223 isn't that in this game.... you need xp for class unlocks and missons/achievements for the tides of war unlocks. Same shit different game. The gun progression trees could maybe be improved but since you get all available optics from the start, plus firing doesn't put you on the minimap making suppressors less useful (plus not really time period appropriate) you pretty much have similar gun customization.
Reviving is only necessary/possible when an area is cleared and youre the last squad mate alive (which he did in this video). If theres other squad mates around they can do it. Jackfrags is doing videos to entertain us on youtube, I dont really think you wanna spend 20% of the time watching him in the reanimation loop.

Yeah, I had a little hope they would try adding the Pacific Theatre or Russia’s campaigns. But seeing the game in its current state, I decided to uninstall and free up space for games more worthy of my time.
Great game jack! I only disagree on your visibility opinion, I love that you have to really scan your surroundings for enemies as in real life. And you can even take advantage of this by adapting the camouflage on your soldier. I personally change my clothing camouflage per map, I think it is great to be able to customize it once again however it still can be optimized by say savings different pre-sets or loadouts like snow, urban, woodland and desert as example. Far from it, it's not the clusterfuck that was Metro and Locker, those maps were only popular because you can power-level your weapons there.
