Phenomenal duet. I have never heard a version with the saxophone, though I have heard many versions, including the original from the animated Prince Of Egypt movie from the early 90's. This is definitely among my favorite version. The One Voice Children's Choir did a version that is special for many reasons, some of which make it perfect for Memorial Day, Veterans Day and Pearl Harbor Day.
Really a great reaction 💗, thank you, please do more, of course of Katrina, but also reactions to Kristina, she did some really great stuff solo already, and imho really deserves more recognition (that's what Kat thinks too and why she invited Kris to record a duet with her and release it on her own channel...) - Kat is such a sweet, loving and supportive woman, you just got to love her for that even if she couldn't sing! Kristina also shines on her own as well, especially with her former band mate Paul (Chapman, the sax player, formerly with Earth, Wind & Fire) and his band GABRIA (=AIRBAG backwards😅).- Just yesterday Paul released a great new video "I Really Love You". He got a backing track from Detroit by Rev Norman Hutchins who is a 8 time Grammy winner and a gospel musician who writes urban contemporary worship music. The original backing voices are from his own choir in Detroit. Paul added some really smooth live Sax and in the second half Kristina comes in and puts the icing on the cake, with some strawberries... If you like some silky saxophone and great jazzy vocals this is the thing for you my friend, and you'd do Paul, Kristina and me, and in the end Katrina as well a huge favor, as it is Kat's wish to support her artist friends - thanks a lot! Btw. as you touched the topic in your comment: The song choice "When You Believe" was Kristina's, even though it was really challenging for her as she usually sings jazz and in a slightly lower key. All the more I adore her bravery to take the challenge on the occasion of this one shot she had with Kat, because it is her mom's favorite song 💗- And she believed in her dream and mastered it, introducing the song tenderly and beautifully, enriching it with her great jazzy low runs and tasteful embellishments and then delivering a perfect stable runway of harmonies for Kat to take off, which she did, OMG... - I hope they'll do more collabs in the future, for me their voices blend perfectly with their respective special qualities, and they don't try to outshine each other, but to add to one another for the sake of a higher goal, the love of music and creation of something that's bigger than just the sum of it's parts...
