It’s funny how awful Aira is at dealing and expressing genuine romantic interest when she’s pretty good and rizzing people up when she’s just messing with them.
That's because for rizz, she just uses her natural charm. But for romantic situations, she follows what she reads in her dad's magazines, and we know what kind of magazines those are. Besides, she looks completely crazy and delusional. She would be better off not using her brains, because each time she thinks she gets to the worst conclusions possible.

Suggesting some animes, 2 older ones and 1 kinda newer. First the newer anime Kotaro Lives Alone. It is both sad and comedy, one minute you are laughing and the next minute you are about to cry. The 2 older ones are called Working!!! which is a very funny comedy that turns into a romance and School Babysitters which got comedic and heartfelt memories. I believe you will love all 3.
That creature is a reference to Shin Godzilla. The scene where it’s water beam concentrate into a more pressurized and more powerful beam is straight from the movie
Btw, not a spoiler just something from the manga that wasn't mentioned here. The aliens, the serponians or the diddy aliens, want okarun powers cause they can't use technology to teleport through space, they saw okarun (turbo granny) use the cellphone to teleport.
