Today I want to share with you my thoughts on Catriona Ward's latest release, Sundial.

It's a miniature by the company Cat's Meow. It's sold exclusively at the Stanley Hotel in Colorado. But Cat's Meow made all of the other miniatures on my bookshelf as well. They're such a cute company.

I really enjoyed this one. It's very different from both traditional horror and traditional thrillers, but still great.
Sundial was a really good book. I enjoyed it more than I did The Last House on Needless Street. Good review.

I plan on reading this book next 😀 right now I am reading Dead Silence. I was the same when it came to Needless Street, I guessed the twist early on and so it wasn't quite as enjoyable a read as it probably would have been otherwise.
I hope you love it!!! This one is definitely super twisty, but I couldn't figure it out at all!
👍 For me, to give a book five stars I would have to compare them all to The Lord of the Rings, which is the best book I've ever read. He took a really long time to write that book or books. I had to read way too many books going to college for 8 years so I'm not going to deal with abuse to animals or women, so I won't be reading this one. 😸 If there's a lot of plot holes I probably would have stuck to my lower rating, but you know, everyone has their own viewpoints on everything. 🙂 I appreciate listening to your review, thank you.
I try not to compare books I read to other books when it comes to ratings, unless it's coming of age horror or works by the same author. Usually my ratings are based simply on how much I enjoyed reading the story. I wouldn't ever want to compare a comedy to an intense drama because the latter would probably be more objectively refined, but if I enjoyed both equally, why not give them the same rating based on my enjoyment?
Also, I, too, am a huge Lord of the Rings fan! :D
