Hamilton mausoleum

Built as a tomb & monument to Alexander the 10th Duke of Hamilton, the structure was known as El Magnifico, when completed in 1852, this private tomb is one of the finest in the country and the town's most famous building, built on the grounds of the now demolished Hamilton Palace, restoration works are ongoing until February 2022
