By yourlogic, day to day consumption of muslims shouldn't offend the Islamic God, given it is not offered to him. Still it is prohibited to eat pork and use pig fat products. Hindus don't comprise only of vegetarians. There are beef, pork eating Hindus. Still it is one to eat it as food and another eating as a prasad. Ghee is vegetarian whereas Animal Fat is non vegetarian
