The gestures are lovely but unnecessary. Histrionic. She is not the star. The music is. The great conductors do not harangue the musicians in this way. She is performing rather than conducting.

And the energy the conductor displays will radiate to the musicians and the audience, only deepening the emotion the piece draws. In my opinion, her “performance” only enhances the music.

Amazing beyond amazing there simply is no one like Han N.A. Chang no one. She’s the greatest musician ever. There has never been a conductor that could match her depth, her beauty her talent her technique. Phenomenal.

Note to video editors: when the ENTIRE orchestra is playing their hearts out, as in "The Hall of the Mountain King" it is not the time for close up shots and quick edits. Show the ENTIRE orchestra and stop choping up the most dramatic performance to be SEEN with unnecessary edits. Also, focus on the spectacular conductor in a second associated video. That is, post a video showing the entire orchestra, and another for the close-ups of the musicians and conductor. It's TH-cam after all, you are not limited to just one video.
