So much respect for analyzing and posting a run bad session. Ever more reasons why I love CLP. Thanks Bart. You know more than anyone that one losing session does not define your poker career. Thanks my man. Can't get enough of your knowledge. Keep posting and I'll keep learning.
I know this was 2 years ago but this is the second time I’ve watched it and it’s just as brutal to watch the second time. I really appreciate the content Bart!!
I played at the Bike for a 15.5 hour session and played through the “bad “ after getting stuck in the game $1900 after getting five consecutive major coolers from.being + $1200above my initial but in at $1/$3 $300 cap game AA, KK,QQ, all dealt back to back to back and then-flop a flush and the villain shoves in front with AK I snap call and the fourth heart rivers me. He’s got the A 😩 then get KK very next hand and get beat . Into the 13th hour I finally get a small rush and cash $3186 . Sometimes you have to play through the bad to come back to win.
Adam Pasquale these are the type of sessions that leave you sick to your stomach. You just feel disgusted for the next day. Hopefully it doesn’t impact your play though going forward (assuming you’re a winning player)
Bart this was hard to watch man! You took it like a pro I give you alot of credit. You couldnt catch a break. This is great video and so true to real life situations and ups and downs. Dont see too many videos like this and your breakdown and review was top notch as usual. Great work Bart.
A player without your ability probably would have lost 5k - 10k more than you for this session. Excellent hand analysis & your thoughts, etc. George did fold his 3, 4 off suit and would have made the straight along with the guy who had 3, 4 suited. But it was just a good fold.
Bart stated in the beginning of this video that George is actually one of the biggest winners in this game but is known to be a splashy LAG. So he's like the real deal of how stones was marketing Postle a splashy crazy player without the cheating. That's George. He's legit. I like his method he got max value from bart given his table image of bluffing. This is what George lives for, when he makes good hands. I also respect George's play with QcTc on the button 3betting preflop against the guy opening with 44. Yes 44 player hit a set but most of the time he misses and George on a king high board will put max pressure on these set miners who may even attempt to call with their weak and medium pocket pairs up to QQ on a King high board. If the guy didnt hit is set and the board was K 2 3, The guy with 44 would know that george is relentless and will fire large on 3 streets so holding with 44 expect to be prepared to risk your stack. In that hand he puts so much pressure on 55-QQ all the pocket pairs that may try to hold on even QQ doesn't feel good there. I respect his play and having bart call 6grand bet in a 2k pot on the river because barts fundamentals and exploitative lines are precise but Bets like that George knows his image is going to pay him off and he knows Bart is taking passive lines against himmso the times when he hits he bets big and gets tricky balancing his Bet Check Bet range and if bart had TT JJ QQ KK on the 7A7 board when george bets 3x pot on river, those hands may actually fold there so George gets the fold equity from most players deapite his image and he runs his bluffs the same way. I like the way he plays but yea its extremley loose but he's willing to battle and put pressure to win each pot even with his marginal holdings because he plays most all his range in late position. You need a three barrel bluff in your arsenal he's not as tilted about losing hands as bart says he is, Hes playing Over LAG and strictly exploitative and its working. The crazy thing he can do is All of a sudden change his play strictly play tag and players on the table will pay him off because most wony nitce that he switched it up.
He opened 82s utg+1 and called a 3 bet. He opened Q5o in MP. Just a few cherry picked hands, but if he does these things, he also is making all kinds of other -ev plays. Very doubtful that he is a long-term winner.

That 8C9C hands was badly misplayed. He had to bet flop, and after failing to do so at least raise turn. By failing to do either of those, he basically let George see all 5 cards almost for free and get there with a flush.
Bart; calling that 3x pot size bet of 6k into 2k you have a bluff catcher at that point; we are suppose to be tightening up our ranges against maniacs; no front flushes on flop; no straight draws...WhaleGeorge's bet is value-heavy, no?
Bart openings range in BB with George on the button straddle should have no 7x combos. Therefore besides AA he has no better hands and George is playing like 70% of hands. If Bart folds this hand George can take this line with any two and print by bluffing in this spot

the announcer has no idea what "click it back" means lmao. The fact that he used the term wrong 50+ times cracks me up
Bart's running like me this month here....
He showed you a 2 so you pay him off. Seen it soooo many times. Brutal night
I would quit poker after this kinda session, imagine losing AA to 84, AK to 74o, KK to 34
What is a bet?
"Click it back" really annoying
Like he is playing online live lol
Seems like these are postle hands but they aren't cheating.
That 8C9C hands was badly misplayed. He had to bet flop, and after failing to do so at least raise turn. By failing to do either of those, he basically let George see all 5 cards almost for free and get there with a flush.
This video gave me PTSD of some of my sessions.
Is George the next postle? The next GOD?
lol
Some people run like this for months
Bart; calling that 3x pot size bet of 6k into 2k you have a bluff catcher at that point; we are suppose to be tightening up our ranges against maniacs; no front flushes on flop; no straight draws...WhaleGeorge's bet is value-heavy, no?
Bart openings range in BB with George on the button straddle should have no 7x combos. Therefore besides AA he has no better hands and George is playing like 70% of hands. If Bart folds this hand George can take this line with any two and print by bluffing in this spot
Loved seeing a bad session!
"This is obviously absurd...ly wide" hahaha
What’s a lag??
Loose aggressive player
Thank you Bart!
I’m only 15 minutes in and I want to puke for
You Bart. My god.
Damn I had not seen the 74
bart gettin his head cracked man!
Wonder what the odds are of every underdog catching up here
That guy has more LUCKK then anything , when he runs good with any 2 its good when its not its terrible .. Im just amazed how many years he is running good .
The same way someone can go on an inexplicably long downswing, some players go on crazy prolonged up swings
