What is the general quality on these? And can you get Predaking in bpf?
I came across these recently and picked up the Swoop and Slag KOs thinking I'd try them out and since they were cheap I'd not wasted much money. I am very happy with the figures and they transform well too. I will be picking up the rest and more from the BPF KO range.
Glad they worked out for you bud :) the rest are pretty solid figs...just be alil carefull with sludge...he has thick plastic on this combiner port..and may cause stress marks :)
Yeah, I took a file to his combiner port to get it to work better, getting it out the first time was a right pain to say the least! I still need to get Snarl, but very impressed with the over all quality, especially for the price they are available at :)

Unfortunately, one of my ports for a combiner on Grims broke. Combiner stays on but not securely. I still like them for the price, I'm just going to order another Grims.

Thinking of ordering the set myself because the limbs are too expensive now. I have Hasbro's Grimlock. Though I mostly just want to display them in Dino mode anyway. I'll get the Toyhax stickers along with them to make them a bit closer.
at that price (well, i'm not sure what currency you are using, but on ebay it's ~$75 usd), it's an absolute steal. i'll definitely be grabbing this in the near future, once i get some cash together that i can spend on toys and not shit that i, you know, need to live.

thanks bro I wanted this set (the original one) for christams but I couldn't find sludge and snarl was to expensive so I checked aliexpres and I found all of them at 50 dollars and I almost buy this set but when I saw the boxes I realised that they weren't the original ones so I decided to check yt and your video help me to come to a conclution: I gonna buy swoop, grimlock and slug for christma and I'm gonna wait to find sludge and snarl
Just get some Autobot Stickers lol, I got all 5 of these on Ebay for $60AU which is amazing, thanks for the video. Just a heads up my latest version fixed the crest on Swoop its identical to the Hasbro version now.

Sorry for digging up old vid, but I'd like to say "great job". I regret I didn't find this video few months ago when I was looking for PotP dinobots. I've encountered these BPF figures on eBay, but I thought "pass" on them because people were selling these for USD16.99 loose (actual Hasbro deluxes were sold at the same price on release so it felt like scam). I ended up ordering Snarl and Sludge at insane price (USD32 with shipping, still much less than eBay or Amazon price for figure and international shipping) from someone at AliExpress (I was really afraid I'd get counterfeit items but it seems the store where I bought them was honest).
I'll probably grab Grimlock (because of the sword) anyway :).
I've noticed in your video that your BPF Slug has swapped shoulder parts (check out the part where you compare BPF and Hasbro figure in limb mode :)).

Imma bit late but 19:10 it seems your KO has his shoulder parts wrong way round.
Gonna finally take the BPF route to complete the team, since Hasbro just wouldn't make enough Slug and Snarl to go around.

Took me a while to get my hands on this thing since office work has been piling up :p but yeah its a good KO specially if you didn't get the chance to grab a Hasbro Volcanicus :) i'd probably get another of bot mode or customs

The newer volcanicus takara exclusive has 2 swords i think. The original power of the primes volcanicus did not come with a big sword.

Yes they are exactly compatible with each other! 👍 These exact copies of Hasbro's potp Dinobots. The plastic quality maybe alil light. ☝️

Bpf volcanicus was based of of transformers earth wars volcanicus that's why grimlock comes with an upscaled version of his focus sword

So how do you avoid the stress marks on the combiner ports, you said something about extending it? Also is this set worth 50$-70$
Sorry for the late reply. You have to shave the bottom of the combiner connector. It will stop it from hitting the plastic :)

Yes they are interchangeable :) you can use different limb arrangement plus you can use them for original hasbro combiners :) they are exact copies :D

How the size compare to jinbao combiners ? And is their a ko predaking that matches this size?
Its the size of the hasbro combiner wars figures...jinbao is upscaled so this is smaller.
I love the dinobots because they are super tough and built for war and i am so god damn tired hearing that bs trying to make the predacons stronger and better than them when we know its not true. I believe volcanius is more powerful than predaking anytime
I agree :) even if the Dinobots didn't combine I think they'd give the Predacons a run for their money. Dinosaurs vs. Jungle animals....Dinosaurs win all day! :D :P

Are these good for kids to play with, or better for just models?
Well depends on how old i guess :) if they are 6 and up i guess they are safe.. they have small parts so i wont recommend them to little ones...but if they are kids who can play with toys like legos...i think they are perfect :) transformation is not that difficult too...it can help them with future transformers that require complex transformations :) plus theyre cheap

I've tried to buy some more toys for him, but all the michael bay movie toys suck and are overpriced and so many other toys and difficult to transform or not built to be played with. Yep upgrades are compatible...my friend used the TDW upgrade kit for Volcanicus and it fits fine
Where did he buy the upgrades? Haha was looking for KO upgrades (if thats even a thing) to stabilize mine a bit better. Volcanicus is a bit top heavy. Haha

Hello!! The quality is not that bad...almost 90% hasbro but has excess plastics and some hit or miss joints...loose parts. The limbs are ok for the Hasbro Grimmy :)

@@Rangus97 individual bot modes and dino modes..the arms and legs are loose....dont worry the combiner mode is pretty solid. :)

Its almost 90% hasbro plastic...some tight joints and excess plastic but overall not a bad stand in for a Potp Volcanicus. Sadly, there are no BPF Predacons. Weijang a.k.a M Wizard did a KO version of Predaking...ive been sick lately so ill post it soon :)
I'm really considering getting it as it will be my only chance to get volcanics cheaply
I would recommend getting it if no hasbro volcanicus is around...its a very affordable alternative :) get it online...here in my country we're lucky to have local retailers but if its hard to come by...online is the best way to buy :)
the KO ones look just a hair bigger.
i bought this thing, and it is stuck in combined mode. Snarl is literally locked into grimlock and wont come off. The handle on the sword snapped off, swoop has stress marks, and slag's wings do too. :/
i was really happy with it until snarl got stuck. I literally can't transform them back anymore.

Yep you sure can...unfortunately i dont have the upgrades yet but my friend bought the TWD upgrades and it worked just fine :) PE upgrades work too ;)

Honestly i cant tell since I haven't tried bmb. I know bmb made an OS version of the potp dinos but i was already happy with the bpf. Most my combiners are hasbro combiner wars scaled so I didn't want to go off the scale by adding the bmb dinos 😅

Very good video my friend. I decided to buy the complete set, but Hasbro in Greece, they no longer have all the characters of the collection. I think the BPF set is very good as an alternative solution. Generally, are you happy with the product now that you have it in your hands for a while? I want it purely for display purposes. Oh thank you for the comments :D yes!! I'm very satisfied with the BPF Dinos...i keep them in Dino mode because i kept the Hasbro one in combined mode!! I'm planning to get another set to keep in robo mode since they are cheap and sturdy ;) thank you for the support i really appreciate it :)

They are basically a KO of the Hasbro line.
They are power of the primes dinobots KOs. Same scale. The Black Mamba is OS from what I know :)

I'd say its 85% to 90% hasbro quality..some parts like the combiner joint for sludge has thick plastic which you might need to shave to avoid stress marks

Well these are the knock off versions of the POTP Dinobots.. you can buy them at 999 mall and 168 mall in divisoria if youre from the Philippines :) otherwise if you can get then online i guess :)

Unfortunately this is smaller. Predaking is a titan sized figure. This more of combiner wars sized
Why has a sword and no gun.
I'm not sure either they only came with the small guns for slag and sludge but volcanicus as a whole didnt have any blaster. The sword was the main weapon :)
