Why did you buy MacBook if you don't even use the MacOS?
@@shahriyar4950 Let me be a bit more clear. I didn't go out and buy a MacBook Pro to put Linux on it. That would be stupid.
I had an older 2015 MBP laying around that wont officially support the latest version of MacOS.

do you have any compatibility issue with Fedora on your Macbook?
@@adiyatmubarak9983 You will need to manually install the broadcom WiFi drivers. Also the webcam wont work.

right click --> enter edit mode --> turn off the "floating" toggle
I have got a lappy with Intel Celeron N4020 dual core processor (1.1GHz), 4 Gb RAM and 128 Gb SSD...whats the best linux distro for this setup...I am pretty much new to world of Linux....

I'm using Fedora right now but planning to try Ubuntu
@@hildemora yeah I've also been using fedora but lately there are some problems. Like the machine freezes on shutdown or reboot. I think it will stop once I switch to x11 because I'm using nvidia
Also I don't like fedora's decision to deprecate x11 from f41. I think they should keep x11 alongside Wayland until it is production ready with everything like nvidia
Ubuntu is good but i suggests first try debian see if it works or not

After remove snapd I didn't see any bugs in my laptop...
And It's stable, no problems still now

Fedora 40 Gnome, I am one who is an Arch user but Fedora 40 really impressed me however this distro is really not for anybody who has no knowledge of Linux.

This video could have been much better if the narrator had slowed down. I wonder if he was getting paid per word instead of the presentation. Many of his words were lost due to his voice speed. Not a good video for the person wanting to know more about Fedora.

Trash, openvpn doesn't work and installing nvidia drivers breaks the distro
If you use Nvidia you should use Ubuntu. Fedora is to new for Nvidia. Nvidia won't create proper drivers so it will break often.
