    I thinking of starting this new career and new to the industry. I started as Loan Signing Agent which is leading me to this path. Any other suggestions to get started?

      I would really start working on your network, business skills, social media, and the real estate language.

    A friend of mine has his brokerage. He told me to get my loan officer license so I can work for him. Is this correct?

    When comes to commission is that being independent or working for a bank or company?

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  ปีที่แล้ว

      Most positions will be commissioned. Working like a bank like chase or Wells Fargo you will have salary and get much smaller commission. The exact numbers I don’t know when it comes to those banks but there is usually salary included

    I was told I need to be first have a real estate agent license before becoming a loan officer is this correct? What is the process in becoming a loan officer in terms of classes to take etc. Thanks!

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You don’t need a real estate license to become a loan officer. First step would be to complete your pre licensing education. I’m partnered up with LearnMortgage. They offer the pre licensing education and if you use code EnriqueLM20 you get 20% off. LearnMortgage.fastclass.com
      From there you would study for your exam and once you pass you can submit your application. I have a detailed video on my channel on the exact steps too.

    Why not just do both Realtor and Loan Officer?

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You could but from observation you sacrifice the customer experience and service. It’s definitely possible though

    Do you think Loan Officers will become obsolete?

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Great question! I do not believe they will. However, I do believe that the way we do business will change a lot because of technology and the society’s evolving code of ethics.

    What’s the best way to get sponsored into the field?

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well to get sponsored you would need to look for a company to work for. I work with a direct lender. Once I was hired and had passed my NMLS exam they helped me with the sponsorship in regards to the steps I had to take to be sponsored. It does take some time but while my sponsorship was being processed I was going through my companies New Hire Training program which is really helpful. By the time the training program was over I was sponsored.

      @@EnriqueGreatness what does sponsorship mean in your context

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Sponsored means a mortgage company hangs your license at their company. Not the physical license though lol it’s just a phrase.

    • @EnriqueGreatness
      @EnriqueGreatness  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was an assistant for 1 year prior to taking the test and then I became a direct lender. There are places that pay you salary but you get very little commission

    Here's all you need to know. DON'T. It's the worst job I ever had. You're a glorified telemarketer. Few and far between will be able to make enough to even live off of.
