Seven warning signs of a vitamin D deficiency:
    1. High blood pressure
    2. Low back pain
    3. High blood sugar
    4. High susceptibility to viruses
    5. Autoimmune conditions
    6. Daytime sleepiness
    7. Depression
Top causes of a vitamin D deficiency (when you’re already getting vitamin D):
    • Polymorphism
    (a vitamin D receptor mutation)
    • You’re still not getting enough vitamin D (you need at least 10,000 IU)
    • You have a problem with absorption
(due to low zinc, low magnesium, a liver problem, a kidney problem, darker skin, or being overweight)
Correct ratio is 10,000 IU of D3 to 100 mcg of K2.
    Thank you Dr Berg!! 🐱👍🏿

I wish it didn’t take this long. I cried and begged for help I felt like I was dying, I’m so thankful for this neurologist.

I’m a sanitation worker & janitor at school in the evenings. I done some blood work because I was feeling fatigued. I have an enlarged prostate and changed my diet due to the risk of cancer. No caffeine, red meat, processed foods, & list goes on. I ended up losing 20lbs. 3 weeks ago I contract Covid-19 for the first time from my wife whom works at home but recently went out the country. No Covid-19 issues while being an essential worker. I went to the hospital 4 days ago and found out my vitamin d levels were 18. I do have a couple of lower disc damage in my back. Pain comes and goes. My rest is 6 hours of sleep and I’ve had years of depression. I was addicted to alcohol, now 13 years clean and have been seeing a therapist for 5 years for mental depression. Thank you so much for helping us all with your videos.

Prostate needs a lot of zinc, most of zinc sources are meat. Men generally crave meat and women crave sugar(fruit and it's antioxidants) Zinc also tells cells to die before they go cancerous. Think there has been a lot of targeted demonization of red meat because of the planet. Food science is mostly marketing. I will literally crave red meat. Prostate Cancer is happens to all men, but why? Zinc and folate are catch22, they help prevent it, but also feed cancer. Not enough iodine also to make hormones as hormones get out of wack. And you take chemical castration to not feed the cancer, which can affect muscle mass and die from heart problems.

Medical doctors do not study nutrition. They are too quick to write prescriptions. Prescription drugs are very toxic to your body. Always best to try to find a way to treat your problems with proper nutrition. Only take prescription drugs as an absolute last resort.

On Christmas day, 2019, I went to the nearby hospital's ER to check some uncommon itching on my head. It was diagnosed as herpes zoster ophtalmicus. Because of that, I took a blood test, which showed that my vitamin D level was way below normal. I started doing all that was required to replenish my body with vitamin D exercises, sun light, vitamin supplements), and it worked in a couple of months. On December 3rd, 2020 I was diagnosed with COVID, one day at the hospital and went back home, for mildly anguishing (couldn't eat properly), two-week recovery. I wonder what could have happened if I had caught the virus while my vitamin D levels were on the floor. Having herpes zoster ophtalmicus one year earlier was blessing in disguise.

I could sleep three hours mid day then still hit the sack at 9pm and sleep through the night. I would just close my eyes in the middle of doing the dishes just for a moment of relief. I also had Bell's Palsy around this time, and turns out a deficiency can cause neurological symptoms as well, so Just wonder! But the weirdest symptom I had was a weird feeling in my thumbs. It felt like my thumbs were "sleepy" if that makes sense. Thanks for another great round of info! This is a huge service to us all.

Hello Dr Berg, you are amazing & I am not a doctor but I learnt this stuff as my wife suffered MS and had over 20 active lesions on her brain at one point. I got fed up of the doctors treating symptoms and not underlying causes. Could you do a video on heavy metal detoxes ? Parsley is great for it silicon dioxide, for aluminium and coconut for the brain as I seen your video about glyphosate & I understand were all loaded with both this and aluminium which helps glyphosate cross the brain and blood barrier. Fun fact Autoimmune disorders don't exist in the equator & they are a western illness for the majority. I was able to stop my wifes illness progression using Chinese treatment to fight against Lyme borreliosis infestation. I rebuilt her myelin sheath using the building blocks of CBD, Melatonin, Nigella sativa, loinsmain & Reshi mushrooms taurine & adrenaline. She's regained all of her physical and mental cognitive function.. I truly love how you break things down with using the building blocks as that's the same way I do things. I just had blood work done about 3 weeks ago and my D level was spot on. I still decided yesterday to take a large dose of an ADK supplement that I take. I took 30,000 IUs at about 3pm and by 7pm, I was feeling no pains what so ever and now at 8:30 am today, I am still feeling better than I have in a long time. I also normally wake up with pain in my calves and in my hands, that was not the case this morning. I know it is hard to believe it would work that fast, but I swear to you it has. I pray it continues. I won't be continuing the extreme doses, maybe one more today and then I am going to go back down to the 5, 000 or 10,000 that I normally take and hopefully it will maintain! Thank you for all you do to expose the truths about natural health cures over allpathic nonsense!

Yes, it's the same where I live, I'm from Sweden. Doctors here are no longer allowed to give advice on diet and what to eat etc. They only prescribe meds to treat the symptoms, they never touch the subject of your diet or underlying causes. They are allowed to encourage exercise in all fairness. I remember when I was young, the doctors treated my parents high blood pressure with weight loss and recommended a certain diet. This has nothing to do with doctors tho, they only do what they are told by the establishment. Things have radically changed to the worse here. Luckily, the information and solutions are available for free on the internet, thanks to heroes like Dr. Berg.

So, vitamin D3 and K2 ( Berg’s brand ) has not done a lick of good in that regard. 😵‍💫

Bummer@@carolcole570 ! To clarify, it's not to say that Vitamin D alone will be enough to cure dysbiosis and/or overgrowths. Rather, it will be much, much harder to clear them if you are deficient. You'll still want to treat the microbiome itself and any contributing factors (root causes) that led you down that path.

Just got a new doctor after moving and one of the requirments he has is to get blood work done right away to know his patients health. Turns out my vitamin D level is 10 and it explains everything wrong with my health! Bowel issues, blood pressure problems, lower back pain, head aches, bone pain, head pain, low energy and major fatigue, and poor sleep along with depression. I have been dealing with this for 2-years and likely had issues before that time, that is just when I started noticing having so many problems.
I am now taking 50000ui D2 once a week and 5-10k D3 with K2 and Magnesium daily, though I do not take the D3 on the day of the large D2 pill.
I had also noticed that losing weight has been difficult this last couple years and from what I've been able to find low vitamin D can cause this problem for some people.

Started having muscle soreness in my shoulders, chest and back and Muscle twitching throughout the body at random around May 2022. Had blood work drawn for the standard stuff everything came back normal but my CK levels were elevated at 408 when normal range is between 25-210. Doctors stated that maybe I had muscle strain in my chest since I workout (didn't make sense to me) so they only prescribed me naproxen for inflammation. 2 months later still the same symptoms.
July 2022 my Primary had me schedule an appointment to see a cardiologist. Which I couldn't see until a month later.July 2022 I woke up out of my sleep and had a panic/anxiety attack I assume. It felt like I couldn't breathe and my heart was racing. Rushed to the hospital and they ran tests and everything came back clean.
I had stress test and ct scan for my heart done and everything came black clear in November 2022.
Primary then had me see a Neurologist in November. Neurologist had me do blood work.l And wanted to see me 2 months later to see if my levels would increase to see if I had any muscular conditions. The levels were around the same. So he scheduled me an emg a month later to see if my nerves were damaged. Emg came back clean.
I met with my primary again in March 2022 he scheduled me a different type of blood work and finally after 10 months my blood work came back that I was deficient in vitamin d. My levels were 6.55 when the normal range is between 25-80.
Since I'm a former collegiate athlete I can tolerate the soreness but it is annoying since I'm not physically doing anything to cause it. Doctor has me on vitamin d2 supplements that i take once a week. Been taking it for a month now i haven't seen too many changes as of yet but hopefully soon. My best solution to temporarily ignore the pain would be being around friends/family, keep busy and and take a very hot shower once or twice a day.
During this time my hair started thinning and turning grey (not sure if it's genetics) Im 30 now. I still have the same symptoms from when it first started. I'm also an asthmatic so I have shortness of breath at random. Prior to this I would only need my inhaler if I was sick which would be once a year if that.
    Good luck to everyone

Dr. Berg, I have an adult disable child with autism, intellectual disability (He's 18) who has been an extreme terror the last 6 months. I've recently removed gluten, dairy and sugar from his diet and saw dramatic changes, BUT they aren't always consistent. He still has very strong aggression and mood swings, but not with the "four seasons in a day" he was doing before. Either way, it's still bad.
I know he has a serious vitamin D deficiency (especially being at the beginning of Winter right now) and think supplementation will help with a lot of his symptoms. The question is I don't really know how to get it into him in high doses. He won't swallow pills. I could get gummies, but they have sugar or sweeteners. If I go the gummy route, would it be a lesser of two evils kind of case? Would the benefit of the supplementation outweigh the possible inflammatory response of the sweetener?
