Enable Override will disable AI targeting while disable it will enable AI targeting again. You can use it to switch target (typically a closer one) while playing tank with AI targeting like Wrench.

as wrench is weak when you get under its turrent
and wrench is already well known for being big and attacking people through 1 block walls and getting sneaky kills
pryer is smaller and has less reach but better in some ways

Not really, the only difference is that the Pryer can defend itself slightly better vs rammers and Rogues.
