Hey brother, this video randomly popped up on my feed. Congrats on training for your first half marathon. I started training for mine in January & ran it at the end of March. It’s a great experience and even better when you have buddies committed to the same goal. To answer your question about lifting, I lift heavy while still running. I run 5 days a week with Thursday and Sunday being rest days. Saturdays are for long mileage days. Also unfortunately diet is one of the most, if not the most important part of any training. I love food too but you want to make sure your body is getting the right fuel for what you’re trying to accomplish with it. High protein and now high carb since you’re going to be running.
