What kind of range were you getting while flying downtown OKC? Did you ever fly to a point where a building was between you and the drone(would reduce the range by quite a bit if it doesn't disconnect completely)

I had a similar beginner swing to you - the biggest difference for me is getting into a square stance where I can feel my center of gravity in my hips and lower abdomen. That becomes the point of rotation which makes my swing more repeatable. Also try to focus on keeping the club head in control throughout the swing path - don’t let it flop during the follow through
