      why isnag people in the (ilocos Norte and cagayan valley) is very fluent in iloco language?

      @@JemuBitayong.9716 idk but as an Isnag from Apayao, specifically Kabugao (the purest isnag municipality) many people don’t speak in ilocano
      I did not grow up hearing ilocano that much like many ikabugaos

      @@J11_boohoo in calanasan and Conner they speak ilocano tho, and the Igorot people they speak ilocano fluent

      @@J11_boohoo originally cordillera use ilocano to communicate the other tribe, like Igorot people Igorot people is so many languages, like ilocos region so many indigenous language and cagayan valley they have many indigenous language, Kase noong unang panahon walang taga-tagalog sa northern luzon, ilocano lang ginagamit nila para mag adjust ng salita, pero kakaiba kayo sa Lugar nyo marunong na Pala mag Tagalog or English mga ninuno nyo noong unang panahon😅

      @@JemuBitayong.9716 actually the first lingua franca of the north was ibanag since they were the first that the spanish came across in northern luzon
      In southern cordillera, kalanguya was used instead of ilocano pre colonially
      Ilocano only became used as a lingua franca later on when the ilocanos spread across luzon
