I love how one way to tell if Bakugo respects you is if he calls you by your name. He tends to give everyone nicknames, like calling her Round Face before the fight. But when she proved to be a strong and worthy opponent he said "Let's get serious Uraraka". And when the others were calling him out for using full power against a "frail girl" him asking what part of her was frail was another sign of respect, implying he didn't see her as frail at all. Even the english dub has him say "I definitely wouldn't call that girl frail" if I'm remembering it correctly.
@@poisoned_alchemist_of_life7232 yes They just want entertainment (as we all do) so they don't give attention and then start criticizing a character for what the character did
@@joen4287 You're going to think this really weird but I feel as if I kind of relate to Bakugo on a personal level really because of how alike we are. Dislike being told what to do, irritated at others who don't really try to match our pace. And are bored with just sitting around doing nothing. We crave action and all the chaos that comes with it. Now I've watched alot of anime, but this is the first time I actually truly feel connected to an anime character.
Now if you haven't realized it yet what uraraka did was the same move deku showed him during the 2v2 mock battle where deku made something for her to use which was the floor that got destroyed she learned so quickly 😩💕
I love how Bakugo is shown as the disrespectful idiot but of all those who were there he was the only one who did not looked down on Uraraka, of course at first he called her by a nickname but once she showed him that she is strong, agile and even that she could have defeated him then he stopped being disrespectful to her and started calling her name. As long as the opponent gives him a good fight, it doesn't matter if he wins or loses, Bakugo will respect that person because they fought as equals, if he gives everything to win then he hopes that everyone also gives everything to win that battle.
Another reason you gotta watch the original 6 episodes of Fooly Cooly/FLCL... The music is all from the band The Pillows and I still listen to them... 20 years later, now?
Ah, i personally felt so frustrated when Uraraka lost! I understand Bakugo is on another level, but the way she put so much effort just for her strategy to fail in the end made me so sad. The way she pushed back her tears until the call eith her parents... Man, hits very close to home
Uraraka was the first person in the class whose name Bakugo remembered. He saw how hard she fought and that left an impact on him, causing him to remember her name
it would have been a unfair battle for literally anyone in the battle. Bakugo and Todoroki have been training their quirks a lot longer than the others and both are extremely destructive quirks But seeing Uraraka battling Bakugo and getting blast after blast without stop and seeing how Bakugo doesnt see her as a frail little girl but as a worthy opponent all the way through shows how much he learned, and how much he understands that he isnt the "1* powerful hero" of the class, aat least not by a huge gap, he learned that Izuku can be stronger than him, Kirishima can handle his explosions and that Uraraka can be faster than him.
Yeah the ammount of recaps in this show may be annoying sometimes, but as I understand it it's normal for the show that is aimed for kids as the target audience - they don't expect for kids to watch every single episode, so they need those recaps to fill in those that skipped a few. The same reason why every first episode of each season is an anime-only filler episode that focuses on re-introducing the main cast every time, though I gotta admit that BNHA gets very creative with them and some are really really good in spite of being fillers ^^

You are correct. I'm glad you also notice this. Many people don't and continue their backlash on him.

Kirishima is one of the few he calls by his name. The bromance is strong with them.
Bakugo is never underestimating an opponent again after losing to Deku
I died at the "Emotional damage!" LOL I'M STILL LAUGHING
7:35 i did not expect that phrase at all, i turned from crying for Uraraka to cry laughing about Alex saying "emotional damage" 😂
same, HAHAHAHAHAHA me and my brother lost it and started laughing so hard. Alex really you are amazing xD
I'm so random sometimes 🤣🤣🤣
what a line
This episode made me look at Bakugo more than the bully he is on the outside. He really knew what Uraraka was capable of.
It's moments like this that make Uraraka shine as a wonderfully written character.
hahahaha I literally died when you said "emotional daaaamage" xD perfectly executed
EMOTIONAL DAAAAMAGE
Next episode is the best animated in all bnha I CANT WAIIIIT!!!!!!!
I agreee
Yes, there are other amazing fights in this tournament arc, but Bakugou vs Uraraka holds a special place in my heart
Emotional damage 😂😂
LMAOOOOO U DID NOT SAY EMOTIONAL DAMAGE!😂
My hero really burns through its arcs fast, and doesnt let up. Much like the characters withen.
Neuralex be like "URARAKA DONT CRY, LET ME HUG YOU"
LOL Emotional Damage caught me off guard xD
Yes, growth, you will see that from everyone, including Bakugo. Who is one of my favorite characters
Glad to see someone like him for his character and not for his looks
I don't like him cuz of how loud he is, but I don't hate him either 😂

This was probably my favorite fight of the entire sports festival. It was very emotional for me to watch.

Dammit, I choked on my food when you broke out the "Emotional damage"
So random 🤣🤣
09:05 best anime duel ever 🤣
🤣🤣🤣

I love how he just takes it all in and sees everything. No judgements against any characters. Not alot of TH-camrs would be this way.

Yes! I agree!
Uraraka was the second, Kirishima was the first one.
What about Deku?
Can't wait to see your reaction on the next episode
I'm not crying; you're crying.
Holy moly I wanna see next episode ahhhhh
4:47, uraraka summoning star platinum
#ora
Few people notice that everybody has smartphones, but Uraraka, being poor, has an old flip phone.
OMG so true 😲
😕
Its literally showing on the screen how much you want to watch the next ep
I don't mind the recaps. This show only has 3 or 4 filler episodes out of 5 seasons, I can't complain much.
형! 기다리고있었어 내일시험인데 고마워 😊
천만에요
Amazing 😍
You may know this already but Todoroki's voice actor IS actually the same as Eren
Yeah
And I liked when he said Sorry in next ep 😈
(In sub)
When he said he was angry?
