Rob, you are soo lucky over there in the USA as I am in Melbourne Australia and we have a hell of a time getting items like these transformers and decals etc.. and if we order them from overseas then postage kills it and makes it not worth it... I used to scratch build RC model yachts and boats and now I have got back into my model trains HO & OO gauge but not prototypical like you are doing, mine is a mix-match of bits and pieces of what I see and like. These videos like yours benefit me, for when it comes time to scratch build my wagons etc... Keep up the fantastic modelling and I will no-doubt enjoy every video you make. Cheers. Tim.
Thanks! You are just the best on youtube. I watch your videos over and over. You are a Excellent craftsman! I'm learning a lot.Keep them coming! Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing. Thank you Rob. I have an N scale unpainted 40 ft car. And I would like to build that car. You mentioned you have the sticky N scale decals. Can I buy a copy? I am very interested. If so I can send my information.
Good to see you back at work on your layout, but seriously only 10:52 minutes? Dude are you losing your touch? Bring back 'Rambling' Rob pronto! But seriously, neat work Rob. Always good to see you out by the tracks too!
That is a Brass model I had weathered and DCC/Sound installed. It is a Key Imports model. It was renumbered to the unit that actually worked at the Westinghouse plant in Sharon. The Proto 2000 Heratige Series 0-6-0 is another good option. Proto even has the PRR #7011 which worked at Sharon! (920-60303)
You might have made a slight mistake on the 3 sizes of vinyl stickers...you said N in the upper right and HO upper left with TT below HO, I'm pretty sure TT is 1:120 and would slot in between the N and HO, so it would be counter clockwise N, TT, and HO...unless the other is S or O scale.
Ok Steve very nice job on car. I’ve been watching your channel since before the transformer factory was even on layout. My Question for you is where did you get the vinyl decals?
They are actually vinyl stickers, and are from CMR Products. My Westinghouse decals on on their product page, but I did have to ask for these to be printed as vinyl stickers. www.cmrproducts.com/Westinghouse-Logo-Decal-Sets-p261741156
