It was kind of sad to let Dlo go like that, considering he'll be traded again by the Warriors after only 1 year apparently. Hopefully with the immense talent he has, he'll be able to lead his own team one day
Why are you feeling sorry for Dlo, the Nets gave him an opportunity and the tools to fix his image and become an all star. And on the other hand he played well for us and put the franchise back on the map. Dlo also became an all star and will get a MAX deal. So I think it's a win win situation for both the Nets and Dlo. The Stats and analytic BS does not do D lo justice. Baiscally, I will root for my Nets but will want D lo to do good too. Realistically I hope he can be an all star caliber player and more importantly a winnner. YOu can doubt if he just cares about money and fame, but deep down I see the dog in him. But with us, I thinkw e are better for sure with Kyrie and KD and even Kyrie alone. I still vouched for Kyrie and D lo or even D lo with injured KD. But Kyrie is still an all star caliber player and arguable top three PG i the game. I think we can be 3-6 with Kawhi gone. I won't gurantee us anything. I have my up and downs still on KYrie and KD pairing. I just don't see KD being a top five player anymore. I think he can be top 15 and even 10. Its worth the risk, but it sucks Kawhi pussied to the CLippers with PG. If it was just Bron and AD and GS our chances are better. It really isn't a given with Kyrie and KD and honestly Kyrie might have to be the better player than KD tbh. I still think Kyrie has it even thougn I have doubts. But he was a fan as a kid, and he is still amazingly talented. But I don't ask much from these guys but to just make us win and act mature. THey jsut act like kids fmo and it rubs me off.
The whole thing about superteams or superstars getting together is youre bogged down by salary caps issues among few players with limited bench depth. The Raptors literally just showed you how to build for a championship with depth and making key moves the championship year. If Kyrie gets hurt, brooklyn is in rough shape.
I keep telling people this - the Nets look great on paper, and on 2K. However, they need a facilitator over there - they need someone who can run the point and create opportunities for KD and Kyrie. Durant had Curry, Irving had LeBron - even DJ had Chris Paul. Can they manage without - of course they can. However, this season is about to look like Boston 2.0, except Horford is replaced with DeAndre Jordan.
Because usage rate just measures the amount of possessions a player terminates. That means the percentage of possessions a player either attempts a FG, turns the ball over, or takes free throws, notice assists aren't included. Players with high assist counts like Westbrook and Harden have the ball a lot more than somebody like Kyrie. If you watch Kyrie, you'll see scored on a lot of off ball plays in Boston and Cleveland and Boston. That increases his USG% even though he simply had the ball for a short time and shot it (ex. catch and shoot threes and all that). Guys like Westbrook and Harden tend to ISO a lot which will either lead them to a FG attempt or an assist attempt. In other words they'll dribble the whole possession looking for the best shot for either them or a teammate, therefore they'll have the ball A LOT more than Kyrie.
Even though KD and Kyrie are supposedly good buddies and seem to get along well, I can see some problems arising from their personalities. They are both unpredictable and prickly dudes who don't seem to fully know what they want. If there are problems with how things fit together on the court, that could spill over into toxic situations like we saw at times on their Warriors and Celtics tenures.
7th seed at best and first round exit this year. 3-6th seed all the years after with their chances at a title getting smaller as Kyrie loses his speed, DJ getting even older, and KD playing post Achilles tear. Hopefully they’ll be fun to watch tho
If Caris is anything close to Jimmy Butler skills then I got them getting a chip in this era but with Giannis, Sixers and Maybe Kawhi factors the East, I doubt it.
BROOOO THIS Is facts thank you for speaking Knowledgeable facts and stats and the truth people are always thirsty for a narritive that isn’t true Brooklyn is gunna be a top 4 team in the east sooner than later
Not really you have young pieces that can become something. You DSJ that can be a trading piece or your solid starter point, Payton who has proven he can be a great playmaker. You have veteran big men in Portia and Taj who can help with the young talent in Mitchell as well as Randle. And with Kevin Knox RJ Barrett and Frank Ntilikna at the wings with veteran depth that could be more in FA and a good coach in Fitzdale. The Knicks can literally be what the nets were a young talented group with a swagger about them. With a balance of young talent and some good vets.
People always using "He's over 30, his peaks done, nothing but downhill from here".. Kobe was still the best player in the NBA well into his 30's, Tom Brady is still winning championships and I don't see him slowing down.. Age doesn't mean anything if your hearts in the sport
@@NmberOneNetsFan True. That's the only reason Rose is still able to play, but even then it still took him years for him to get to being almost healthy. Guess we will see how severe KD's injury was.
Problem with Kyrie is that he thinks he is too cool to be trying hard, especially harder than others. That's the only reason why he never was a real franchise player.
I really think that KD will step back in this team, Kyrie would average like 27 and 7 in some season while Durant will average like 23-26 points during his time in the Nets
Based on your analysis at 4:40 Westbrick is also not ball dominant loooool! #statstellhalfthestory...Kyrie more efficient the Westbrook for sure but saying they both not ball dominant is completely false!
we ll see how it will work out its to early to say. everybody thought bouston would dominate the east but things turned out differently. the east is stacked on top right now. kyrie failed in boston hopefully he can turn things around
Your nets, made the warriors a better team, thank you, KD won't come back as a top 2 player bc the Nets don't have a good training staff and they don't have as good of a medical staff as the warriors, ur nets are going to ruin a great player, and I'm not mad he left, im happy he did, but the Nets cant take care of KD.
Fantastical Gaming you are fucking stupid New York has great doctors you fuck, the warriors roster is depleted and will have a tough time making the playoffs. Stupid fucks like you make the internet so shitty.
I am not optimistic for them, I doubt KD will be close to the same, you said 80, I think it is a success if he comes back at 60%, and I do not think that is enough to contend for a ring, for the east maybe, but I hope I am wrong.
I think the Achilles isnt as big problem. Only because he got it on his off leg. Every other injury and decline was on the plant league. The success stories are of KD style.
i think if KD goes to menphis omg that can be a great starting five. Center Miles Plumlee, Guard Iggy, Forward KD when he get tired he can sub with Iggy and even the gaurds can sub with iggy he is a Guard/Forward in that starting five you dont need so many Subs, Igudala is a forward / gaurd so he can sub both with KD and Joe Crawford ,, yes i know that is crazy , great with Karrie Ervin the team can sub in and out with out problem . yes i know this . thinking is crazy yes i know.
Dude I gotta say, your tone on kyrie is way different here than it was in your video on Boston. I think its hypocritical since you've made entire videos ripping into other people for not being consistent in their opinions. Watching your videos its honestly starting to seem like you just like taking the position of "here's why you're all wrong" regardless of the situation. I think you know alot about the NBA. But I also think you take certain positions in these videos just to seem superior to most fans. In the Boston video, you said kyrie flat out doesn't facilitate, and that all he does is score, and that most of his prolific scoring is just due to him being ball dominant. That we all set such a low standard for kyrie at this point. But now that other people are bringing up those same concerns, its "everyone is overreacting. Everyone is overthinking it" and you downplay all of the things you ripped into him for. "Its the media spreading a certain perception of kyrie over the past 18 months". Oh, you mean like the exact perception you put across in your video on the celtics? People are inconsistent sometimes, that's fair. But when you've made entire videos bashing other people for being inconsistent in their views, and being so high and mighty about it, I just think its hypocritical
KD won't be playing in the post a whole lot anymore and his Defense will probably not be as great as it has been these past 3 years. Even so, he's still gonna be a deadly player offensively.
You must be a brooklyn nets fan.. As an outsider though (spurs fan here), i see this as the pierce and kg acquisition all over again. Sure it looks great on 2k, on paper, and they're stat "darlings" and all i get that. But there's more to just using your metrics, per, ppgs etc. KD is coming of an injury where a lot of players don't return like their normal selves. Given the millage that he has, his frame and style of play I'm making a bold prediction here and say he's coming back at least 50 percent. Will that make the nets championship caliber though?ehh..
Kyrie tbh can be the man of this team in the regular season if he plays great enough and leads nets to a top 4 spot they will have a good advantage and he will ease the burden in KD return plus u say joining KD doesn’t make sense if he wants his own team we’ve seen what Injuries can do to players so if KD doesn’t return 100% And kyrie Drags then Thru obviously it will be kyrie team
Obviously he expects KD to be his sidekick. He knows that KD does not have an alpha mentality. The fact that KD joined the Nets instead of the Knicks because he knows Kyrie would be going there says enough about KD.
Kyrie wants to be the man because he WILL be the man on the Nets. When Kevin Durant is injures for a whole year Kyrie will become the face of the team and when Kevin comes back he’ll see it’s KYRIE’S team
I think by all 3 sides taking the financial part out for KD. Isn’t the ideal situation For Kyrie what makes the first season in Brooklyn any that different from Boston and even if KD becomes 100% what makes this any different than his Cleveland situation? The whole point in wanting out was him wanting to be a leader of a team, a situation that won’t help if KD is still considered at the very least the most important and the best player on this team. And for KD what makes this so much different than OKC situation? It’s going to be a team where let’s face it is going to run more iso plays for KD and Kyrie which is fine for the regular season but for the postseason it can be more hazardous and the warriors proved to KD when he doesn’t play hero ball he has a better chance of winning. And finally I don’t see why the nets would just personally sign KD with this much money. Just building a team with Kyrie and adding more pieces honestly would be fine people are taking one season way out of pocket and he can still be your number 1 option. But to sign KD for a max deal is too much. You have no evidence on his recovery, he’s on the wrong side 30 and it was not just a tendon break but the strongest tendon in your body in the Achilles. A lot of people when thinking about the injury and say his game isn’t athletic for an effect are only thinking of guys who are insanely fast or with high verticals, but that tendon is crucial to KDs game because he’s a player who likes to create space just as much as he likes to shoot over the top of people. And when he’s handling the ball to make an explosive move whether it’s to the lane or pulling up or a step back that explosive first step is in his Achilles’ tendon or at the very least it absorbs the shock. That’s not just a 20% loss that’s a worse case scenario 45-50% lost that can impede his scoring, defensive responsibilities, and his overall ability to be mobile. The only person who has won in this is KD, because whether he’s 100% or 55% he still gets his money and he’s already established himself and his legacy. Kyrie is in the exact situation he just got himself out of at best and at worst, and the nets just did something that at best maybe could be something that can get a ring but realistically as well can put you in a lock of mediocrity.
@@FantasticalGaming do you really think kd is not going to have the best to help him recover? Just because he play for Brooklyn doesn't mean he has to use the their staff.

Not exactly. We kept a majority of our young guys and even made the playoffs last year with Levert and Dinwiddie missing significant minutes.
The fro starting, DJ will on the second team with Spence and Rodi
Why is usage rating a misrepresentation of how much a player has the ball?
If I'm not wrong usage rate translate to the time spent on the floor not the time with the ball
Lagiar hurlorage it’s how much a player has the ball i think
You really have high hopes that KD will come back to his old form pre-injury. Its an achilles tear. Id say is 50-50
LOW dropping the logic bombs like it’s nobody’s business
He failed miserably as THE man...of course he changed his mind
Even though KD and Kyrie are supposedly good buddies and seem to get along well, I can see some problems arising from their personalities. They are both unpredictable and prickly dudes who don't seem to fully know what they want. If there are problems with how things fit together on the court, that could spill over into toxic situations like we saw at times on their Warriors and Celtics tenures.
"ach-EEL-ees" lmao
7th seed at best and first round exit this year.
3-6th seed all the years after with their chances at a title getting smaller as Kyrie loses his speed, DJ getting even older, and KD playing post Achilles tear. Hopefully they’ll be fun to watch tho
I think KD gonna be jusssst fine lol. Dude is a goat
Facts !!! He came back from devastating foot and knee injuries in 2015 just fine
This video was a little diss at Mike korzemba's video
Fuk dat guy
LOW can u give me the names of these beats I already know the name of the beat near the end of the video
If Caris is anything close to Jimmy Butler skills then I got them getting a chip in this era but with Giannis, Sixers and Maybe Kawhi factors the East, I doubt it.
Bro K.D. BETTER THAN ANY OF D NAMES U JUST MENTION
BROOOO THIS Is facts thank you for speaking Knowledgeable facts and stats and the truth people are always thirsty for a narritive that isn’t true Brooklyn is gunna be a top 4 team in the east sooner than later
I speak for myself as well as my fellow Knicks fans in saying we will take the L and bathe in our misery for the next 2-3 years lmao
We will be fine the media is the one that wants u to believe that don’t let the media manipulate ur views on our young team
mrslash blade nah the knicks flat out suck
LOW the goat 🐐
7:55 add Kurucs and Nickeil
Don't be surprised if they acquired Iggy too
He going to the lakers
I thought iggy got traded to Memphis?
Essense Bryant more than likely they’re gonna reach an agreement to a buyout
u buggin
Damn 😅 this aged well
People always using "He's over 30, his peaks done, nothing but downhill from here".. Kobe was still the best player in the NBA well into his 30's, Tom Brady is still winning championships and I don't see him slowing down.. Age doesn't mean anything if your hearts in the sport
Bruh you need to post a video about that poll you put up a few hours ago lol
One major problem... KD Achilles is made of glass now.
You aint a doctor, and he just came off successful surgery, stfu
Bear medical technology these days r very developed so maybe he will come back 100%
@@NmberOneNetsFan he will. Its 2019
@@NmberOneNetsFan True.
Where did you find these stats? 4:37
Joe Harris was straight bricks in the playoffs
Based on your analysis at 4:40 Westbrick is also not ball dominant loooool! #statstellhalfthestory...Kyrie more efficient the Westbrook for sure but saying they both not ball dominant is completely false!
Bandwagon season for the nets.
we ll see how it will work out its to early to say. everybody thought bouston would dominate the east but things turned out differently. the east is stacked on top right now. kyrie failed in boston hopefully he can turn things around
Giving love to my nets
BROOKLYN
I think the Achilles isnt as big problem. Only because he got it on his off leg. Every other injury and decline was on the plant league. The success stories are of KD style.
mans tryin so hard to not say (acc)(re)(ate) instead of accurate like agent does
i think if KD goes to menphis omg that can be a great starting five. Center Miles Plumlee, Guard Iggy, Forward KD when he get tired he can sub with Iggy and even the gaurds can sub with iggy he is a Guard/Forward in that starting five you dont need so many Subs, Igudala is a forward / gaurd so he can sub both with KD and Joe Crawford ,, yes i know that is crazy , great with Karrie Ervin the team can sub in and out with out problem . yes i know this . thinking is crazy yes i know.
kd is taller than jordan btw
Wrote all that and made no sense because your observation is completely wrong 😭😭
KD won't be playing in the post a whole lot anymore and his Defense will probably not be as great as it has been these past 3 years. Even so, he's still gonna be a deadly player offensively.
This year is gonna be a wash for Brooklyn but they’ll definitely be in the finals in 2021. Most likely against the Lakers...
God Lakers are 3-peating
The Big 3. of BROOKLYN NETS 2019-2020
Lol how is Lavert a floor spacer, the dude is a slasher
People keep sleeping on Spencer dinwiddie
SIP SIP
James Harden almost 50% isolation is mind boggling lol
You must be a brooklyn nets fan..
As an outsider though (spurs fan here), i see this as the pierce and kg acquisition all over again. Sure it looks great on 2k, on paper, and they're stat "darlings" and all i get that. But there's more to just using your metrics, per, ppgs etc.
KD is coming of an injury where a lot of players don't return like their normal selves. Given the millage that he has, his frame and style of play I'm making a bold prediction here and say he's coming back at least 50 percent.
Will that make the nets championship caliber though?ehh..
Lmao he's a Lakers fan
@@KiraDaBeastNY no wonder he's delusional lol

The Truth About the New York Knicks after not signing Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant
They ain't winning shit
Kyrie tbh can be the man of this team in the regular season if he plays great enough and leads nets to a top 4 spot they will have a good advantage and he will ease the burden in KD return plus u say joining KD doesn’t make sense if he wants his own team we’ve seen what Injuries can do to players so if KD doesn’t return 100% And kyrie Drags then Thru obviously it will be kyrie team
If they’re like a franchise that hasn’t made the playoffs in 13 years
Hardly Be Losin Nets just made the playoffs. Last appearances were 2013-15. Before that the last playoff appearance of the Nets was 2007.
I think they will get to the second round of the playoffs, in my opinion.
Obviously he expects KD to be his sidekick. He knows that KD does not have an alpha mentality. The fact that KD joined the Nets instead of the Knicks because he knows Kyrie would be going there says enough about KD.
I’m a kyrie fan I just follow him...let’s go Cel....Nets!!!
M. BUCKS is the KING of the EAST 2019-2020
Kyrie wants to be the man because he WILL be the man on the Nets. When Kevin Durant is injures for a whole year Kyrie will become the face of the team and when Kevin comes back he’ll see it’s KYRIE’S team
Bro steph curry is a beast lowest in each of those categories
I think by all 3 sides taking the financial part out for KD. Isn’t the ideal situation
For Kyrie what makes the first season in Brooklyn any that different from Boston and even if KD becomes 100% what makes this any different than his Cleveland situation?
When kd fades away he does it on his left leg. The injury will not affect his jumper either. He's still a 7 foot jump shooter
SC Challenger that doesn’t account for his first step
@@MrSlashblade he is not going to be cripple. He might not be as fast driving hole but he still we be able to drive.
@@l9ikjam KD won't come back as great as he was, the Nets don't have the training staff to bring him back to his top 2 or top 1 players in the NBA
@@FantasticalGaming do you really think kd is not going to have the best to help him recover? Just because he play for Brooklyn doesn't mean he has to use the their staff.
4:48 holy shit James harden
Sean Marks is 6’10 guys
"doesnt weight that much" kd is hovering 240 which is heavier than most forwards in the leauge
KD is 6"11 or 7"0. 240 for a person his size is not much. I think lebron weights more than him.
@@JeffPhil04 ik i said most lebron is like 2 inches shorter with a wider body
Jeffrey Philippe LeBron is 6’ 8’’ 250 lb.
The 13 dislikes are Knicks Fans
Not really Nets isn't going anywhere ok woe they sign KD N Kyrie ok ???? It's not the last time they sign big time Free Agent 😒
I 100% thought this a video trashing them as the Sacramento kings of the East.
Waiters got traded cause kyrie wanted the ball, this ain't nothing new. Any team hes on is his team he just wanted to go home.. to a flater earth..
He was the best on that team so he has a point. He has a right to try to be the man
They traded waiters because they did not need another guard who played on ball and with the trade they got key role players who were 3&D
"Funny memes on twitter"
Giannis is confirmed king of the east by GOZ 😂
Stopped watching at the Seat Geek Ad and then disliked.
You being serious?
I am just how much shoes will KD and Kyrie can sell in China. They will be the face for alibaba.
