Born 12/14/1981 at 11:15a I’m a late Aqua rising and 2020 was a wild ride with long Covid, POTS, gastroparesis, no hair, leaving a career at its peak due to health challenges. In my journey since then, I’ve realized that I have MCAS and my trigger was mold., Candida. I discovered eating red minced meat predominantly helped me get out of this anytime there was a flare. 51:57 Getting a perm is a super interesting example of a Pisces first house Saturn transit because perms can last a longish time (like up to 6 months) if they're maintained properly, and of course they famously require a temporary restriction (Saturn) from water (Pisces) for the first two days following the treatment. Plus there's the connection between the moisture required for curl structure, Piscean ocean "waves" and "wavy" hair, and Saturn sort of freezing the wave or curl structure in place to ready it for longer-term care/maintenance.
The Ruler of the Ascendant in the 7th house interview with Donata really resonated with me on a personal level. I am also a Virgo Rising and have Mercury Rx in Pisces. We also share the same Nodal axis. I also got pregnant in 1992 and had my 1st child, a daughter in 1993 and I have Venus in Capricorn and Mars in Taurus, opposite of her Mars and Venus placements. Out of the blue I went to a military history museum in Vienna all by myself...wandering the halls, inspecting canons, weapons, armory. I had no idea where that urge came from and I just had started with astrology then, trying to make sense of this move I saw that Mars was going over my AC on that day hahaaaa
Mars in Sagittarius 1H with Pluto in night chart. During the Sagittarius/Gemini eclipses in 2020, I had my first major surgery. My quality of life improved significantly afterwards. I began lifting weights and felt more confident than ever. Personality wise, I’m not that competitive with others but I tend to hurry through tasks to see, “how fast can I do this.” I thrive under pressure and love a good challenge!

In my birth chart, the only planet that in my first house that is above the horizon is Leo. For all of my life, people perceived me as very outgoing extrovert. However, my sun sign is capricorn and my moon is in Aquarius with a stellium in the sixth house including my moon and sun sign. I am actually a more introverted loner content in my own company, but it took me a lifetime to really understand that. At this point in my life, my progressed chart(s) have shown my personal growth through a redistribution of all of my planets from below the horizon to a redistribution across the entire wheel. In my youth, people were confused by my outgoing personality that was housed within a very introverted introspective lifestyle, but now I live who I am on the inside and no longer mask that with my Leo ascendant. Last note, ironically even with multiple planets in my sixth house, I have had very few health issues but I have had lots of cats (mostly fosters).
WOW RE: THE WOMAN THAT GOT LONG COVID during the 1:45:00 mark: I had almost the same experience as her regarding long covid, being alone for the first time due to separation, gastroparesis, POTS, etc. There are so many similarities with our stories. My daughter has exalted Saturn in first house Libra she has braces. It's wild because I also see braces as restricting as well Saturn is restricting its binding and tightening and when he mentioned the speach my daughter thinks way quicker than she can actually speak so she stumbles over her words
Hey Chris!! and Astrofam💜 Your work and podcasts are incredible and I am endlessly grateful!! 🙏🏾 Just thought I would pop in and share my little bit I am a 29° Aquarius rising , in late December 2021 Jupiter, crossed my ascendant I have Saturn and Jupiter in mutual reception with Jupiter at 24 Aquarius and Saturn at seven sagittarius. I also have mercury sun and venus at 9 10 and 12 Aquarius respectively. at the time Jupiter crossed my ascendant. Saturn was also making conjunction with that stellium. on top of it It was a first house profection year. I am a trans woman, and no later than five weeks after all of this almost out of the blue (Jupiter blessing) I suddenly attained the ability and clear pathway to obtain life changing, affirming procedures for myself that I never dreamed would be a possibility.

Didn’t catch the stream but wanted to share this interesting example - My father had his ascendant at 29° of libra and saturn at 3° of Scorpio. He got sober from alcoholism in his 1st Saturn return and was hit my car and died in his 2nd Saturn return Would be veryyy interested in an episode on potential inherited placements or family with the same placements as I’ve noticed that many times studying charts. for a relevant example - my father had 3° Scorpio Jupiter I have 3° Scorpio mars
When pluto went over my son’s ascendant in Capricorn he had open heart surgery, happened again when it went over Natal first house Saturn. They had to break through the breast bone twice
This was my favorite episode ever!! Learned a lot and felt very identifyed with Mars on The first House stories! I have cronic alergies, got into 2 car accidents and have a scar on my chin. I also have Neptune near to The degree of my Ac, and can say that if i wanted to, i”m sure i could be a contorcionist. The only one i’m still trying to figure out is Uranus in my AC.
Libra rising here, the transiting South node in ascendant and Saturn's transit in Pisces, which rules my 6th wholesign house, has caused me constant fatigue and bouts of sickness all year.. I very recently completed my 11th house profection year of Leo ruled by the Sun; I am a semiprofessional dancer and typically make a large part of my income from teaching it as well; the exact day the Sun and Algol conjunct in May in Taurus this year, I injured my knee so badly I have since been unable to walk and required surgery 2 weeks later. The last 2 months of complete immobility has hugely affected my ability to work or make income 2nd house, my ability to perform or create or connect with the dancer community 11th house, and has put me into debt and some reliance on charity from others, 8th house, as Mars continues its Taurus transit... this has hugely impacted my sense of self and my role in the world, my body, and my need for a spiritual practice.. only last week had my birthday starting my 12th house profection year and I am more isolated than Ive ever been due to still relative lack of physical mobility and function delaying my return to "everyday" life.. the astrology is wild.
Oh! At 1:02 when it was asked if there are any outer planet over ascendant stories. I was getting settled into myself in terms of being trans. I already knew I was but a lot of my transition and understanding came when uranus traveled through the first house. And actually my Top surgery also happened when Uranus was within 1 degree of my ascendant

So my Mom doesn't have anything in her first house but she has scorpio rising with Mars, her ascendant ruler, in Aries in the 6th. In a night chart. She has now had 28 surgeries in her life so far and we know she'll need more. Its been a mixture of surgeries for hernias, breast cancer, knee replacement, having me, etc. Her being a toxicologist near the top of her field also feels apt for this placement. But maybe this is also helpful in terms of understanding the 6th house/ascendant ruler in the 6th house. Edit: She also has chiron conjunct her mars pretty darn close (and applying). I don't typically pay attention to chiron but it seems relevant here
Pisces rising here, with Jupiter in the 12th. The first two years of my life I spent more in the hospital than out with lots of surgeries. Ever since I have needed more surgeries, about one every three years. I am an aspiring author though, so the solitude and forced rest have been to my benefit as well. Saturn is going through my first now and my entire life has slowed down. I've struggled with exhaustion and have been to the dentist several times already. I'm getting more and more gray hairs and wrinkles are starting to show.
My Asc is in Capricon. Jupitar & Saturn conjunct in Asc. Sun in Aquarius sextile my Asc. Moon in Pisces sextile Jupitar and saturn. Pluto transits through Capr. & Aquar. back and forth has radically changed my appearance, beliefs, thoughts and how I feel. I even took a huge step to change the style and goals of my life. I have now a more philosophic and spiritual view of life, I feel wiser and more comfortable in my body and soul. I feel I am stuck with firm Saturn all my life, as it makes things harder and slow. But it taught me to work hard, be patient and focused. It really pays off long term. Thank you teacher Saturn.

" I have mars retrograde in Virgo in the 8th house, ruler of the 10th and the 3rd. I have done forensic accounting, finance, bookkeeping. Also as ruler of the 3rd house of the fortune teller I have done astrology my whole life and am doing paid readings now. Plus the obvious exercise that is mars in the 8th is my favorite! Lol
I’m struck by all the examples of eye issues. I also have Uveitis which had left me legally blind for a few years. The inflammation in my eyes is largely under control now - I have Sag rising with Moon conjunct Neptune in 1st house. I have foggy vision and visible scars in my pupils. My mars conjuncts Jupiter in the 12th house. My moon Neptune conjunction also squares my 10th house sun. So my eyesight challenges have always affected my career - I’ve had to shift careers a few times due to eye issues.
Im first house saturn cancer, my brother is 1st house gemini saturn, his wife is also a first house cancer Saturn!! 😂 I havent quite figured it out but to say my brother is the most laid back is an understatement
I usually use Placidus, which would put the Moon and Mercury in my 1h in Pisces, which resonates. But I also relate to the whole sign house first house significations - I have Mars conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius; with Mars conjunct the Ascendant. I often put my foot in my mouth (unintentionally) and can be fearless about matters that are not emotional, particularly Justice. And I have a scar on my forehead from my head getting split open when I was 2 years old. I will also put myself at risk to help others, or a larger cause. (Kismet - I just received notice that my Amor-Fati shirt was here while I was typing this. 🙂)
Mars is currently transiting in my first (it's retrograde so it's been jumping from 1st to 2nd house for a while). At first i had problems both with the house heater and the washing machine (funny: mars is going through cancer and that's all water machinery). However in december it really hit me: not only did i get a bad urinary infection (it is squaring my libra moon, house ruler), i also had bad infections to both my ears. The best part is: that's when i discovered i am low in iron! I am following what is officially called a martial cure. This is just so funny to me (funny in astrology terms, in human being terms i am exausted) .
My husband has Jupiter in the first as well and he is always underestimating how long jobs will take to complete and is overly optimistic! It is ruled by Mars in Libra in the 12th, so it can be a bit self-undoing, even if he doesn't see it.

Lol Funny, I'm also scorpio rising with Mars, Saturn in my first house, and I'm anemic with thyroid problems that mess with the metabolic system and plenty of other things that also slows me down. Pluto is also in my first house. All 3 planets opposite my Venus and Sun in the 7th house of Taurus 🤷🏼♀️ what do you know, Taurus body parts have to do with the throat, neck, and vocal cords where the thyroid is located. 😬 I guess it all adds up, lol 😅🤦🏼♀️ im guessing 3 c-sections have to do with pluto. Being that it has to do with the groin area🤷🏼♀️
So the ruler of the 7th getting a divorce after 56 years of being with the same man. Her moon is at 0° Leo. In 2023 Pluto opposed her moon by transit. I think this with the Saturn transit through the 7th house definitely would have had a great impact on her. Finally deciding to get a divorce..
Libra Rising 29 Degrees; Mars there at 18 Degrees. Ruler is Venus and she is in the 2nd H. Not sure what that means. I feel pretty fortunate. I'm healthy compared to the two other examples. I don't have allergies that I know of. I've had a broken finger and a broken toe in the paste. Nothing major.
I have Mars in aries first house and aries rising so😂. In placidus, i have jupiter and saturn in first, and i think they all have some effect on my personality somehow. I have never had any major physical problems, but i have had a lot of mental trauma. I am only still young though so who knows😅
Uranus started transiting my 1st house a few years ago, and I recently started being interested in astrology on a deeper level (about 7 months ago). I’m not sure if that counts for anything but that’s the only example I have 🥲 I have nothing in my 1st house in my natal chart
Interesting. I am also Libra Rising, with Mars, Saturn AND Pluto in the 1st. Lucky me. I was always super cold as a child, told I was and "old soul" (saturn). Was also anemic, which feels like Mars in detriment... To date, no major surgeries. Mars, it seems to me, has been subverted most of my life. It wasn't safe for me to have a voice in childhood, as I also had an abusive father. - just realized he has moon conjunct mars, so go figure. He's very explosive. My sun is 0 degrees capricorn, so a tight square to Mars (2 degrees Libra) I did the cliche thing and somehow married a person who would become EXACTLY like my dad... I feel like the realization/discovery of who the ex really was began toward the end of pluto in cap (which is when it started squaring(ish) by degree my natal pluto). The last 5.5 years has been one of massive transformation for me. I have been in therapy, working on healing C-PTSD from both men, I got divorced, I run my own interior design business (venus in 5th house, ammi right?) I am the strongest (mentally) and healthiest I've ever been. I am finding my voice, learning to stand up for myself (in the most venus like way - I'm sweet, I'm diplomatic, but I get stuff done) I still have a long way to go, but slowly getting there - thanks Saturn 🤣
Pluto transit Cap 1st, then Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in 1st. Had a baby, traumatic birth, body changed forever. Impossible to exercise, weight gained etc. my question is this: after a nuclear Pluto transit, is there a way back from the field of destruction. Once the dust has cleared? The examples from my chart are a bit mixed with other placements. But I have a Cancer Rising with afflicted 11th house Moon in Taurus, afflicted Sun in Leo in the first (I prefer Placidus) and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in Cap in 7th. I have scoliosis, eyesight and nose problems ever since I was a child, I had lots of throat issues when I was a child as well. And ever since I've had other Saturn- and Neptune-related issues. I also had a lower jaw surgery when I was a teenager, but I'm not sure about the exact year. I don't have the med papers with me to check the profection year.
Brenda... I had to double-check your DOB... after you mentioned your eldest child is age 36. Like, wha? And, of course, you look as youthful as you do in appearance! All this Gemini and Leo... 😅

Hey Chris!! and Astrofam💜 Your work and podcasts are incredible and I am endlessly grateful!! 🙏🏾 Just thought I would pop in and share my little bit I am a 29° Aquarius rising , in late December 2021 Jupiter, crossed my ascendant I have Saturn and Jupiter in mutual reception with Jupiter at 24 Aquarius and Saturn at seven sagittarius. I also have mercury sun and venus at 9 10 and 12 Aquarius respectively. at the time Jupiter crossed my ascendant. Saturn was also making conjunction with that stellium. on top of it It was a first house profection year. I am a trans woman, and no later than five weeks after all of this almost out of the blue (Jupiter blessing) I suddenly attained the ability and clear pathway to obtain life changing, affirming procedures for myself that I never dreamed would be a possibility.
I'm going through a 1st house year, and I'm super grateful 🙏🏾 for this episode for a lot of reasons.:)

1:33:07 Kristin! Talk about a similar chart to mine, i was born jan 11 1984, in IN with ♑️ Rising 22 degrees conjunct the sun! I also got sick with Covid early in 2020 and have never fully recovered.(LongCovid).

My father had his ascendant at 29° of libra and saturn at 3° of Scorpio. He got sober from alcoholism in his 1st Saturn return and was hit my car and died in his 2nd Saturn return
Would be veryyy interested in an episode on potential inherited placements or family with the same placements as I’ve noticed that many times studying charts.

When pluto went over my son’s ascendant in Capricorn he had open heart surgery, happened again when it went over Natal first house Saturn.
They had to break through the breast bone twice
This was my favorite episode ever!! Learned a lot and felt very identifyed with Mars on The first House stories! I have cronic alergies, got into 2 car accidents and have a scar on my chin. I also have Neptune near to The degree of my Ac, and can say that if i wanted to, i”m sure i could be a contorcionist. The only one i’m still trying to figure out is Uranus in my AC.
Libra rising here, the transiting South node in ascendant and Saturn's transit in Pisces, which rules my 6th wholesign house, has caused me constant fatigue and bouts of sickness all year.. I very recently completed my 11th house profection year of Leo ruled by the Sun; I am a semiprofessional dancer and typically make a large part of my income from teaching it as well; the exact day the Sun and Algol conjunct in May in Taurus this year, I injured my knee so badly I have since been unable to walk and required surgery 2 weeks later. The last 2 months of complete immobility has hugely affected my ability to work or make income 2nd house, my ability to perform or create or connect with the dancer community 11th house, and has put me into debt and some reliance on charity from others, 8th house, as Mars continues its Taurus transit... this has hugely impacted my sense of self and my role in the world, my body, and my need for a spiritual practice.. only last week had my birthday starting my 12th house profection year and I am more isolated than Ive ever been due to still relative lack of physical mobility and function delaying my return to "everyday" life.. the astrology is wild.

Oh! At 1:02 when it was asked if there are any outer planet over ascendant stories. I was getting settled into myself in terms of being trans. I already knew I was but a lot of my transition and understanding came when uranus traveled through the first house. And actually my Top surgery also happened when Uranus was within 1 degree of my ascendant

Uranus has been transition through my 1st house Taurus and has wildly changed my appearance and personality
So my Mom doesn't have anything in her first house but she has scorpio rising with Mars, her ascendant ruler, in Aries in the 6th. In a night chart. She has now had 28 surgeries in her life so far and we know she'll need more. Its been a mixture of surgeries for hernias, breast cancer, knee replacement, having me, etc.
Her being a toxicologist near the top of her field also feels apt for this placement.
But maybe this is also helpful in terms of understanding the 6th house/ascendant ruler in the 6th house. Edit: She also has chiron conjunct her mars pretty darn close (and applying). I don't typically pay attention to chiron but it seems relevant here
Pisces rising here, with Jupiter in the 12th. The first two years of my life I spent more in the hospital than out with lots of surgeries. Ever since I have needed more surgeries, about one every three years. I am an aspiring author though, so the solitude and forced rest have been to my benefit as well.
Saturn is going through my first now and my entire life has slowed down. I've struggled with exhaustion and have been to the dentist several times already. I'm getting more and more gray hairs and wrinkles are starting to show.

My Asc is in Capricon. Jupitar & Saturn conjunct in Asc. Sun in Aquarius sextile my Asc. Moon in Pisces sextile Jupitar and saturn. Pluto transits through Capr. & Aquar. back and forth has radically changed my appearance, beliefs, thoughts and how I feel. I even took a huge step to change the style and goals of my life. I have now a more philosophic and spiritual view of life, I feel wiser and more comfortable in my body and soul. I feel I am stuck with firm Saturn all my life, as it makes things harder and slow. But it taught me to work hard, be patient and focused. It really pays off long term. Thank you teacher Saturn.

I’m struck by all the examples of eye issues. I also have Uveitis which had left me legally blind for a few years. The inflammation in my eyes is largely under control now -
I have Sag rising with Moon conjunct Neptune in 1st house. I have foggy vision and visible scars in my pupils. My mars conjuncts Jupiter in the 12th house.
My moon Neptune conjunction also squares my 10th house sun. So my eyesight challenges have always affected my career - I’ve had to shift careers a few times due to eye issues.
Im first house saturn cancer, my brother is 1st house gemini saturn, his wife is also a first house cancer Saturn!! 😂 I havent quite figured it out but to say my brother is the most laid back is an understatement
I usually use Placidus, which would put the Moon and Mercury in my 1h in Pisces, which resonates. But I also relate to the whole sign house first house significations - I have Mars conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius; with Mars conjunct the Ascendant. I often put my foot in my mouth (unintentionally) and can be fearless about matters that are not emotional, particularly Justice. And I have a scar on my forehead from my head getting split open when I was 2 years old. I will also put myself at risk to help others, or a larger cause. (Kismet - I just received notice that my Amor-Fati shirt was here while I was typing this. 🙂)
Mars is currently transiting in my first (it's retrograde so it's been jumping from 1st to 2nd house for a while). At first i had problems both with the house heater and the washing machine (funny: mars is going through cancer and that's all water machinery). However in december it really hit me: not only did i get a bad urinary infection (it is squaring my libra moon, house ruler), i also had bad infections to both my ears. The best part is: that's when i discovered i am low in iron! I am following what is officially called a martial cure. This is just so funny to me (funny in astrology terms, in human being terms i am exausted) .
My husband has Jupiter in the first as well and he is always underestimating how long jobs will take to complete and is overly optimistic! It is ruled by Mars in Libra in the 12th, so it can be a bit self-undoing, even if he doesn't see it.

Lol Funny, I'm also scorpio rising with Mars, Saturn in my first house, and I'm anemic with thyroid problems that mess with the metabolic system and plenty of other things that also slows me down. Pluto is also in my first house. All 3 planets opposite my Venus and Sun in the 7th house of Taurus 🤷🏼♀️ what do you know, Taurus body parts have to do with the throat, neck, and vocal cords where the thyroid is located. 😬 I guess it all adds up, lol 😅🤦🏼♀️ im guessing 3 c-sections have to do with pluto. Being that it has to do with the groin area🤷🏼♀️

So the ruler of the 7th getting a divorce after 56 years of being with the same man. Her moon is at 0° Leo. In 2023 Pluto opposed her moon by transit. I think this with the Saturn transit through the 7th house definitely would have had a great impact on her. Finally deciding to get a divorce..
Libra Rising 29 Degrees; Mars there at 18 Degrees. Ruler is Venus and she is in the 2nd H. Not sure what that means.
I feel pretty fortunate. I'm healthy compared to the two other examples. I don't have allergies that I know of. I've had a broken finger and a broken toe in the paste. Nothing major.
When Pluto entered my first house my depression left me...transformation perhaps???

I have Mars in aries first house and aries rising so😂. In placidus, i have jupiter and saturn in first, and i think they all have some effect on my personality somehow. I have never had any major physical problems, but i have had a lot of mental trauma. I am only still young though so who knows😅
Uranus started transiting my 1st house a few years ago, and I recently started being interested in astrology on a deeper level (about 7 months ago). I’m not sure if that counts for anything but that’s the only example I have 🥲 I have nothing in my 1st house in my natal chart
Interesting. I am also Libra Rising, with Mars, Saturn AND Pluto in the 1st. Lucky me. I was always super cold as a child, told I was and "old soul" (saturn). Was also anemic, which feels like Mars in detriment... To date, no major surgeries. Mars, it seems to me, has been subverted most of my life. It wasn't safe for me to have a voice in childhood, as I also had an abusive father. - just realized he has moon conjunct mars, so go figure. He's very explosive. My sun is 0 degrees capricorn, so a tight square to Mars (2 degrees Libra) I did the cliche thing and somehow married a person who would become EXACTLY like my dad... I feel like the realization/discovery of who the ex really was began toward the end of pluto in cap (which is when it started squaring(ish) by degree my natal pluto). The last 5.5 years has been one of massive transformation for me. I have been in therapy, working on healing C-PTSD from both men, I got divorced, I run my own interior design business (venus in 5th house, ammi right?) I am the strongest (mentally) and healthiest I've ever been. I am finding my voice, learning to stand up for myself (in the most venus like way - I'm sweet, I'm diplomatic, but I get stuff done) I still have a long way to go, but slowly getting there - thanks Saturn 🤣
Pluto transit Cap 1st, then Saturn/Jupiter conjunction in 1st. Had a baby, traumatic birth, body changed forever. Impossible to exercise, weight gained etc. my question is this: after a nuclear Pluto transit, is there a way back from the field of destruction. Once the dust has cleared? (Looking forward to Pluto leaving Cap but terrified of the second house wrecking ball)

The examples from my chart are a bit mixed with other placements. But I have a Cancer Rising with afflicted 11th house Moon in Taurus, afflicted Sun in Leo in the first (I prefer Placidus) and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune in Cap in 7th. I have scoliosis, eyesight and nose problems ever since I was a child, I had lots of throat issues when I was a child as well. And ever since I've had other Saturn- and Neptune-related issues. I also had a lower jaw surgery when I was a teenager, but I'm not sure about the exact year. I don't have the med papers with me to check the profection year.
