the Ruler of my 4th house of Aquarius (Saturn) is in the 9th where my sun is. Uranus another ruler of Aquarius is on the cusp of the 9th in the 10th and conjunct Uranus there. I have been a teacher and dancer with multiple interests in the esoteric and have not traveled a lot, but have lived in 4 cities and am a history buff and travel mentally in books

4th house Pisces - Jupiter in the 9th - Neptune in the 12th Scorpio - working in a holistic occupation, spend copious amounts of time studying esoteric/religious/astrology, had several distinct mystic experiences through life and they directly related to Pisces and Neptune, Jupiter, the 12th house (also mercury, SN, POF)... current research involves tracking reincarnation patterns through geneology/astrology

Wow, this work matters! I’ve known about my 4th-12th house issues for decades but this shed so much light on it! I’m very grateful.
4th house Saturn in Taurus, Venus conjunct Moon in 12th in Sag, making a Yod with Uranus in Libra in the 9th. From birth, I was separated from my parents off and on-mother was in hospital and father was in prison off and on. There are inheritance issues and I was recently basically “exiled” from the family property. I identified with all the others who said they spend a lot of time at home alone. No one understands why I’m like this but I feel validated and can see some healing coming from these revelations. Thank you guys so much!

I have the ruler of the 4th in the 10th and work from home, following in my grandmother's footsteps as an illustrator. For what its worth, it's also conjunct the ruler of my 8th, and I remember after my grandmother died we had all of her drawings in boxes in the garage, and I would spend hours sifting through them and getting inspired.

Thank you so much Chris! It’s so beneficial for you to do deep dives on the angular and especially the cadent houses as although it may be difficult to hear for some, it really is great to hear both the positive and negative manifestations of placements. The negative events are simply what happens in life too and it’s validating to have them honoured and expressed. As well as teasing out the good potentials in the cadent houses. Please continue to show both.

Thank you for making this wonderful Video! I have a lot to comment and share~
Nick mentioned the differences in motivation behind 3rd and 9th house travel, and I resonate with that deeply. I have Mars in Libra in the 3rd house, ruling both my 4th and 9th houses, and it’s in mutual reception with Saturn in Aries in the 9th. This dynamic perfectly reflects my relationship with travel and its purpose.
Seeking meaning feels like a daily task or chore for me-it’s a part of my everyday life. My day-to-day often involves "wondering." For example, I’m constantly engaging with astrology (a very 9th house topic), reading astrological materials, and chatting with online friends about it. Even before discovering astrology, I loved philosophy from a young age. In middle school, I would read my parents’ university textbooks, discuss “higher-level” ideas, and watch documentaries about foreign cultures and intellectual concepts. There’s even a church literally two minutes from my current home, i can stop by anytime I want.
So, in a way, my daily life is already tied to the 9th house-it’s like I “go to the 9th house” without traveling far at all.
Ironically, I feel like 3rd house travel is “further” for me. My close friends and family often feel far away-literally and emotionally. Many of my childhood friends now live on the other side of the planet, in entirely different countries. Even my best friend, who is just a 20-minute subway ride away, feels “far.” Meanwhile, if I’m traveling somewhere for 1+ hours to wander or explore, it feels close and enjoyable. Even traveling to Montreal (a 7-hour trip) feels near and exciting to me.
I’ve noticed that transactional or routine travel (3rd house tasks like errands) feels far and tedious, which I dislike. But exploratory or seeking travel (9th house motivations) feels much closer, even when it’s technically far. For instance, I once commuted 1.5 hours for work, and because the location changed every few days and offered different scenery, I loved it!
It’s fascinating how our perception of distance changes based on purpose. This 3rd/9th mutual reception dynamic definitely shapes my experience of travel and its meaning, as well as the 4th house living situation and family experience.
    thank you!!!!!!

I literally had to switch from the podcast audio to TH-cam while listening to share how I CACKLED LOUDLY at the “too much death & not enough shmex” comment 🤣🤣
Everything you share is absolutely incredible Chris, and honestly would be enough on its own, but I also really love the additional insight from guests. Nick is such a gem and I really liked his perspective on the variation of 3, 6 & 9h traveling. It stood out to me and makes me want to investigate this theory in my own chart because it feels like it may help me clarify some things.
All of your co-host guests have such wonderful things to bring to the episodes in their own way that compliment your delivery. It’s been fun learning your interactions with each co host and knowing what to anticipate based on who you’re with. Wow, the examples for the ruler of the 4th in 9th 😮 I feel seen!
I'm also a gemini rising, Mercury in the 9th in Aquarius (with Sun). I was born in a country my parents were foreign to - they came there to work for a while. Then moved back to the country of their origin. I'm a dual citizen. Studied abroad, did internships abroad. Graduated with double majors (languages and psychology). Moved back to the country i was born in. After some time, i moved back again and currently leave in a totally different country and... getting an itch to move again after 6 yrs. I kind of learned to accept the mutable and dual nature of this axis... Although i won't lie, sometimes I would love some fixed set place but on the other hand I know I need to feel like I'm free to pack and move anytime I might feel it's time. Im really curious to learn more from the series. Especially the rulers of the 10th! Thank you for sharing your knowledge❤

I feel so spoiled with these lengthy videos 😂 Such a nutritious meal for my brain and soul ❤ Thank you so much 🎉
Feelings aside, some feedback on my position:
Libra 4th house with Venus in the 3rd in Virgo.
I've lived in 6 places in 35 years. 5 in the same city, of them one was a studio in the same building where my grandparents' apartment is and another one was with my girlfriend and her mother in a neighbouring neighborhood to where my patents live. The sixth place was in a city AND neighbourhood (I didn't know about the neighborhood part untill I left that city) where my father had spent some of his childhood. While I was living in my non-native city I traveled once a month between the two cities by train and I like trains. I'm currently back with my parents for a while and in the future we're going to be probably still living in the same neighbourhood although the prospects for now are for living in the same building, but I prefer to have a bit of distance.
Also I was raised for the most part by grandparents and studied for 12 years in a school that is right across the street from where my grandparents live. They are on my mom's side and my mom used to travel for work around the country while I was a kid.
I'm also the only one in the family who has never had issues with neighbours 😁

I could never work my 4H out due to how active it is, hoping after this episode it will be clearer.
The ruler of my 4H (Aries) is in the 5H, 6° away from IC and 4° away from NN; and the ruler of my 5H (Taurus) is in the 4H.
Both rulers are in detriment/fall, but Aries Venus in 4H is cazimi - 7mins from the sun, sextiling Jupiter and trining Uranus, but it is also retrograde 😅

First of all, I want to express my appreciation for your podcasts. I’ve learned so much from them, and they’ve been a source of inspiration and guidance for me.
I wanted to comment on the 3rd house episode, as I have a stellium there, but I think it’s more appropriate to share here since every house in my chart seems to lead back to the 3rd. The theme of family also carries significant weight for me, so this connection feels fitting.
Here’s a brief summary of my chart: I have a Sagittarius Ascendant, with Mercury, Mars, and the Sun in Aquarius in the 3rd house. Pisces is on my 4th house cusp, along with the South Node, and the ruler of my 4th house, Jupiter, is in the 9th house in Leo.
While listening to the 4th house episode, I found myself reflecting on who exactly raised me. I started moving between different homes at the age of 5, living with various family members. By the time I was 10, I was living back with my parents, but unfortunately, my dad passed away that same year, forcing me to move again. After that, I alternated between living with grandparents, older siblings, and even an aunt, with whom I stayed for two years.
During my Saturn return, I unexpectedly moved from Brazil to England through the help of one of my siblings (which I see as another strong connection to the 3rd house). In my first year in London, I moved houses 11 times-I’m not joking! If you’re an introvert and have to live with so many different people, you’ll understand how challenging it was, especially with issues like noise and lack of privacy. After that period, I moved every couple of years until I settled in my current home, where I’ve been for the last seven years.
Even though it’s not my final destination, and it hasn’t been perfect-especially since Saturn entered Pisces-I feel like I needed a break from all the moving. When Nick explained the difference between the traveling of the 3rd house and the 9th, it clicked for me. Moving to England wasn’t just a relocation; it felt like part of my search for purpose.
My whole life, I’ve felt like a lost puppy, but only now am I beginning to find clarity about what I’m meant to do. Astrology has become my goal, though I’ve been struggling a bit to fully immerse myself in it. I also have Saturn in my 10th house, which I believe reflects the long and sometimes challenging journey toward establishing myself in my career.
One thing I’ve always loved is learning new languages. If it weren’t for my procrastination, I’d probably be a polyglot by now. This passion also feels tied to my 3rd house stellium, as it reflects a deep curiosity for communication and connection through words.
I currently work as a cleaner, which I believe is another connection to these houses. My job takes me to different homes, where I meet people from various nationalities and backgrounds. It’s a constant exchange of experiences, which has taught me so much about others and myself.
To end, it’s been a great journey of learning, soul-searching, self-awareness, and purpose.
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. You Chris and your guests! ❤

6:48:10 I have 12H ruler Mars in 4H, and 4H ruler Jupiter in 9H (leo). Also I'm a Sagittarius rising. This is exactly what I've felt my entire life. This is honestly the most relatable thing I've ever heard, word for word. I'm also very conflicted about travelling, it's like wanting to leave my comfort zone but feeling like it's not really necessary. My family has jailed me big time, and I just keep on isolating myself further.

I have my 2nd house ruler, 3rd house ruler, 4th house ruler. So I am always interested to hear what ppl have to say about the 12th. Sometimes it seems just as elusive as some of the topics. During this transit I’ve had to deep dive into my most difficult memories. The corners of my mind that I hid even from myself, in order to face the panic attacks that were starting to take over my life! So this was so cool to see and also find a whole new layer.

RE: Ruler of the 4th house in the 7th house
Both my fiancé and I are Sagittarius Rising with Pisces 4th house. My 4th house and chart ruler Jupiter is in Gemini in the 7th house. We met as roommates who didn’t know each other when we signed our lease with two mutual friends and started dating while living together.
My fiancé’s chart and 4th house ruler and Jupiter is in Aries, the 5th house. He is a musician and a lot of our decor is the display of his instruments, and he cannot imagine feeling or being “ok” without having music as an outlet. It’s his safe space. His family has always supported his passion for music.

... and the art of tattooing is old... an ancient form of art & very symbolic
"Tattooing has been practiced for thousands of years across the globe, with evidence of the practice dating back to at least the Neolithic period. The oldest known tattoos are on the body of Ötzi the Iceman, a naturally mummified man found in the Alps in 1991. His tattoos on his spine, knee, and ankle joints date back to between 3370 and 3100 BCE, suggesting that tattooing was used therapeutically."
How on point for Saturn?! Love that our oldest example was found in ice & the tattoos were on the knees and ankles.... So Capricorn. So Aquarius.

And I have had the most financial success with personal real estate (later in life due to Saturn conjoining 4th house ruler, Venus, in the 2nd house).
Jupiter is the ruler of ny 11th house MC and south node and with 5 planets in Pisces, and being the only planet in an angular chart, Jupiter is probably the strongest planet in my chart.
I bought a vacant lot in my childhood home provonce when Uranus 1st transitted into my Taurus 4th house. Then the day it ingressed into Taurus again a year later, I moved back full time. No one ever expected that I would come home.

4th house ♍sun, with Mercury (and Venus) in the 5th. There was a lot of 'fun and games' in the house I raised my 2 children in, and an emphasis on creativity. I also note that a lot of my creative self expression came from family traditions, notably cooking and fiber arts. I find a lot of joy in this specific area, balances out Pluto being a couple degrees away from the Sun in my birth chart.

Scorpio 4H, no planets, IC at 10degrees49, modern ruler Pluto in Leo 1H conjoined 5H ruler, traditional ruler Mars opposite in 7H conjoined Chiron. Both parents in the diplomatic corps, family politics, war trauma, always helping people with knotty problems. I find self while participating in and helping lead outside causes related to social change and transformation (edit: adding including most recently affordable housing and wildfire readiness- you wouldn’t believe the politics there), known for my leadership and strategic thinking based on deep community processes. People admire me and don’t always know what to make of me. Physically I'm thin but attractive and constantly shedding old appearances, even changing clothes several times a day (I’m also living on a Pluto line), and as often as my means allow. Edit: continuing to listen, made me realize that perhaps the Pl 1H indicates my parents had to keep ME a secret for a bit back in the day as an outofwedlock comception.

    Chris and Nick,
Everything is interesting about this series. Did you know Markle is estranged from her father and half siblings, as well as the Royals? You're probably hesitant to do a public chart on someone who is still living and currently embroiled in troubles when there are still some hidden factors. Like Harry and Meghan, I wouldn't want to be obligated or tied to the duties of a royal. I would feel very confined. There must be something in their charts about their unseen and protected children and the unknown whereabouts of the mother Doria for 10 years, during which time Thomas Markle cared for and doted on Meghan. The Queen asked Meghan to write that letter to her father because she was concerned that Doria was the only family member invited.

I have the ruler of the third in my first house Saturn, on my ascendant and there is a building at George Fox University in Oregon named after my my grandpa's siblings I believe were heavily associated with them and at one point in time someone from my family was the dean I believe. My cousin later went there on a scholarship for music. The ruler of my fourth is in my fourth Jupiter in Pisces Sagittarius Rising; I think that placement says a lot about my father and the fact that he was always there and that my home was always a place that was safe for the most part my son was raised in that house with my father and he has the same placement in his fourth house and I also attribute that placement to my father as well because we both had a very similar experience with my dad.

I have an example of the IC being in the 5th house. In 2020, I met and moved in with my wife. I was 22 at the time, making it an 11th house/Scorpio profection year. The ruler of my 11th house is Mars in Sagittarius, but Venus is in Scorpio in my 11th house and rules my Taurus 5th house where my IC is at 10°. I met my wife through one of my bandmates, which indicates the 11th house and she met my drumset before she met me, which could indicate Mars in the 12th, which was the timelord for that year.

Ruler of my 4th (Mercury) in the 7th. Ruler of my 7th(Jupiter) in the 4th. I've met my only committed partner visiting my parents' home. He moved in with me pretty quickly. Couple of years before that, I've met my short term partner in my family home, literally in our living room. He was the best friend of my father's cousin. He lived with us couple of days then left. Five years later, he came back from Australia to visit us alone, and that was when we started the relationship. He lived with us for a week or two, then he and I went to visit another town where we rented a place for ten days. So, from the get go, living situation was present. My future husband has his 4th ruler (Moon) in the 6th (Virgo). He is in medical rehabilitation and is currently employed by his brother on the side. He finished Kinesiology University.

libra rising, saturn in 9th (gemini). my parents are from two different ethnic groups (within the same country) and that dual aspect always spoke to me. i also had dual homes growing up, one on my mother's family and another on my father's. they were also frequently travelling because of work when i was young. my bachelor's is in history and political science, and my undergraduate thesis is one part religious political history and one part sexual history (same ruler of 5th house). during my ungrad, i frequently travelled between my mother's and father's houses because my university was located in my father's hometown but i frequently also went to visit my mother on holidays. more on politics: my family has close connections to some prominent politicians in our area, and that's always influenced me growing up. i grew up with my grandfather and he had a lifesize painting of his politician friend in our house.

First of all, total gratitude for the long hours of work! My question regarding Jack Nicholson's chart is: Had you not known the story, would you have suspected that his mother was not the grandmother? That the sister was the mother?? Would you tell a client in total certainty that This, is the reality of his birth? If he hadn't asked anything about it? Or if the client said: There's something not right about my birth... would you have thought of this?

In Jack Nicholson's chart, the Sun (Lord 1) is applying to a conjunction with Uranus (sudden revelation of identity?) Mercury (ruler of tricks and lying?) is co-present. Also the moon is co-present with Neptune in a Mercury ruled sign, maltreated (by opposition) by Saturn in Pisces. "Sudden dissipation of illusion regarding the identity" could be a delineation.

I just finished both episodes and if I can add a bit:
My cousin who has the ruler of the 4th house in the 9th house in her childhood had to move several times due to her father's job. He works for a plane company which allow them to travel a lot around the world. She has a algerian mother and a french father.
My best friend also has the ruler of the 4th house in the 9th and both her parents are working in education.
My uncle has the ruler of the 4th in the 6th is severely injured and not well physically and mentally. Because of that he could not work anymore so he stayed at his home alone for a long time, now he is living with his mother again and partially has to take care of her because she is getting old.
All three of them have Venus ruling their 4th house btw
My mother has mars, the ruler of her 4th house in the 2nd and she has for the past 20 years dealt with unresolved heritage (a farm) because a cousin disagree with selling the farm (heritage in france is complicated). I just looked that to the ruler of the 3rd house is in the 12th house. AND since a few months she takes care of all of her mother's finances (legally).
Okay I think I'm done here. Thank you for helping me seeing all of this Chis (and Nick obviously)

To this day (I’m 44) I still can’t explain how my 5h mars (4h Scorpio with IC;Mercury;Uranus;Lilith ) shows up in my life. However after watching this I see a few similarities to Nicholson. My mom had me young (18 turned 19 the next day). Growing up she felt more like a sister to me. My grandmother & great grandmother mostly raised me. My mother’s pregnancy put a permanent strain on her relationship with her Mom. I still maintain a close relationship with grandmother & great grandmother even though they are no longer physically here.
