    How does it compare to the Blackview Tab 18 because im trying to get a tablet for mostly media consumption and light gaming, and these tablets are reasonably enough. Also im glad it's L1 and actually works. Good review by the way, will look out for more updates before I purchase.

    Nice review
    I own the T40 and T50 from Teclast. I have seen the performance continue to improve. They unfortunately almost never get OS updates. As you pointed out in your review, the cameras not the star here or on any of their tablets. Where they shine and stand out is video quality and price. Also there support has been very responsive. Not many reviews of these tablets so, thanks your perspective 👍

      I have four teclast tablets, in this review is pretty much spot on. The DPI is less than other tablets that are an inch smaller which is why it may not seem as sharp. But for functionality and price this is a good tablet.

      I've had two Teclast tablets The T40 hd and the T45Hd. I've been very impressed by this brand so far. They are improving and for the price bracket. The T45 is my favourite and looks sleek! I hope they continue with the design of this especially how the camera is mounted and looks on this model in particular

    I wish manufacturers would stop having the cameras protrude like that. If you don't have a case for the tablet, you can't actually lay your tablet flat and it wobbles while you use it. Way easier to damage the camera shield because of it, too, if the surface isn't completely smooth. It'd be nice if they actually had them recessed a bit.
    edit: Not that scratching up the camera shield would matter much, given how crappy the cameras already are. :P

      I really dont get why this design keeps sticking with phones/tablets. While i can see the reason being big sensors on flagships and such, on a tablet especially there is literally 0 reason for this being a thing.

      Lenovo sucks. Everything I bought from them either died, stopped booting, or blew up. I was gifted a Lenovo tablet and the touchscreen didn't work. They haven't made a decent product since IBM sold it.

      @@thom777I don't know how you figure that. A lot of people are using Samsung and Sony cameras and cell phones that are cheap. The problem is if you want it all these high-tech things you're going to pay a high-tech price. There's tablets for about $370 up that are all high-tech. 100 + megapixel cameras. Night vision. Me myself personally all I want to have is a tablet that you can get on the internet anywhere without Wi-Fi. And not pay the Samsung price or the Apple price.

  • @ocstrangeness
    @ocstrangeness 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Only costs about $130 on aliexpress. This is the perfect tablet if you plan to read ebooks and comics, which is why I bought one. It has no root or custom rom support (yet..) but it does support a micro SD card. I normally use a mipad 5 11" which has better hardware but no SD support, but it has ArrowOS from XDA. Prior to this, I used a 10.4" Samsung for reading. While it had full support for Lineage, the screen and specs weren't very good for today's standards.

      Depends on your needs. If you need more power, it's much better but if you're on a budget and only plan for casual use then this is the one to go for. The tab 18 is $220, this is about $130.

    • @JonDeth
      @JonDeth 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Maybe, but do you actually own one to know, and it's also more than twice the price. I just got the T60 for $104.42 off AliExpress w/free shipping + tax, and it only took a week to get here. No latency with DAW's and synths when plugging in my MIDI piano with every tablet I've owned from them.
      Those are fair points, but the price to performance ratio is what leads most people to models like the T60. That other tablet is about 2.5x the price, but not 2.5x the performance.
