    So awesome to see you challenge yourself with the half marathon. Thankyou for everything you’ve done for me through all these years. You were the first I came across on youtube before starting my own fitnessjourney back in 2012. I was 18 years old back then and learned so much from you. I also still remember the 22 things happy people do differently series. Keep being who you are Steve! Much love from Norway.

    Love seeing you step outside your comfort zone and doing this running challenge! I just ran a 35 mile ultramarathon in October and I cant begin to stress the importance of carb loading these next two weeks! Good luck with your recovery and can’t wait to see how you do in your Half!

    Always enjoy everything you put out... i'm for real shocked by the news of Mr. Toth's passing... I remember seeing him in that exact same video you posted and my mouth hit the floor when you said he passed on. If anything, as passe as it might seem to talk about mental health for me as it seems to be such a dismissed topic yet also widely spoken on, finding purpose and mission is important for a man and you have done your part to spur many men into taking steps to purposeful pursuit of their own purpose and the gym and health are pillars that you've preached for the last decade+ so thank you Steve!!!! I'm wondering when you'll be collaborating with Korean celebrity Kim Jong Kook... you can check out his channel Gym Jong Kook and perhaps a Steve Cook/Gym Jong Kook collab will be on the horizon...

    I also don’t like running but I am doing it to physically and mentally build endurance which is something we mentally apply to many areas of life so I get you!

    Mr. Cook, It would be interesting to see what your current diet looks like. Im convinced I seen you eating a burger in the main street of Bangalow last summer... I'm currently 103kg and trying to get to that SC level of bodyfat. Feel as though i'm doing everything right (Training, cardio, sleep, nutrition) but obviously not.

    Try doing the cold plunge with the sleep steve… cold plunge before you workout or after could help with the sleep… try it out

    I get the same, if you have lifted weights before and hold any form of muscle mass you feel it, like your wearing body armour, with the pump etc..... And then you start running, they're completely different things/motions etc, but I like both, but have always lifted weights and started running during Covid lockdowns, so I just do 5k runs now. But you can very easily feel flat, like Steve is saying here.

    You presumably could eat 3750-4250 calories if you're doing 210 minutes + of cardio/week and working out 4 times per week and maintain that condition while feeling fuller.

    This has been me since I started running 6 weeks ago. Feel like crap, pumps suck, lifting days kinda suck, can’t get enough carbs, drinking electrolytes but still not enough water, starting to look skinny fat, want to like running while also hating running and can’t go on long distances. 😂

    After I run I feel skinny but running helps open up the air intake so I have to stick with it.

    When running what do you use to carry your cell phone? I find it hard to carry mine while running. Oh and it’s only like 30 to 45 min. Of pain in a 24 hour day - so not to bad :-)😅 running 🏃🏽‍♂️

    Do you not like porridge and mixed nuts with honey Steve? Good carbs fats and protein. Plus if you make the porridge with more water and some sea salt you get hydrated and Sodium. 👍🏻

      Depends. If you are already training on the limit and add running to the program aswell you Will probably lose

    Running is going to stuff up ur joints if you keep pounding 200 plus pound on those knees its will wear out ur knees and you might need knee replacement when you get old

    U in ur late 30’s you shouldn’t be tossing and turning 6-7 times are you under a lot of stress atm or could be sleep apnea you may have any loud snoring? If so get it checked out
