Australian here. If not for MCO Beauty the style of many of these products available to you in the northern hemisphere would either be unavailable to us (many brands do not retail here) or would be so overpriced the average Aussie or New Zealander would not be able to afford them. Just for reference PML motherships palettes are well over $200 AUD from Sephora. Most foundations at Sephora or Mecca are over $100 AUD, including NARS and CT. I can vouch for the xtend lash mascara in black/brown. It is a repeat purchase item for me. MCO beauty is available in supermarkets and variety stores here and is currently Australia’s number one beauty brand. It’s even outselling L’Oréal and that’s because it’s local, it’s in cute/dupey packaging. It’s good and it’s reasonably priced.
🇦🇺 yes, Americans don't have any idea how expensive make-up is here, and no returns just because you don't like it. .. unless your face blows up like a watermelon (and then you have to send it back to the company to test there's not a problem) you might get a refund, but Not just because you don't like the colour now, or the foundation is too light/dark...etc
I own a number of their products and love them all! As a consumer who wants a good quality product, I hate that I have to spend a fortune on overpriced items. There is plenty of market share to keep everyone in business.
I love their ct powder dupe, it's the only one Ive found that works for my more mature skin. They also have a ct package dupe lipstick called prance proudly that is a stunning and unique shade of rosey red,I absolutely love the finish of matte but comfy.I didn't care for the the pillow talk lipstick dupes, the finish seemed more satin and on me it looked too brown nude, its impossible for me to find a pink nude that looks pink nude. Their miracle flawless foundation is amazing and honestly one of few foundations that stay on my combo skin all day. I love the tube lip and cheek tint, leaves such a pretty luminous soft dewy finish. I also love their nars lip balm dupes.
Easy to purchase the mcobeauty here in Australia for 30% to 50% off at chemists, supermarkets and variety stores. The formulations are excellent. It's much appreciated in the cost of living crisis for Australians to access these products when the luxury brands are only available at stores that never have sales or don't ship to Australia. There are only so many makeup products and they are all going to get made sooner or later, in one way or another.
Yes but bear in mind that MCO beauty is usually half price here in Australia in AUD so it’s a lot cheaper for us, the original product is a lot More expensive here as well
I don't know how I feel about mco beauty I follow a channel called beauty news both girls that present that are Australian so the topic of mco beauty was brought up apparently alot of the makeup that's available in the us and uk isen't in Australia brands don't deliver there or they're product are just not sold there that's why mco beauty has been a big hit as they can't buy the original products xx
jackieturner4144 I agree. The Australian dollar is weak. $1 AUD= $0.60 USD. So very over priced. With rhe conversion. Lots of brands are difficult to find and launches take months if not years to arrive in Australia. Some products they won't sell to Australia all together. Amazon US is over priced. Even cheap brands like Essence only sell a limited range.
It's more about availabilty to purchase high end. We have very few and I mean less than 25 Sephora stores in the entire country. There's Mecca but the cost for American products is like double in Aus dollars. My nearest Sephora is in Sydney a 3.5 hour flight away. MCo is clearly filling a gap in Aus beauty market but I can see them being sued for copyright infringement in the future if they aren't careful in how they package their products.
The only MCo Beauty product I have is the lip oil. It is hydrating but the packaging is horrible as it leaks all the time, even when it is standing up straight
In Australia NO ONE pays full price for MCo Beauty. That combined with the fact that all of the other brands (CT, DE etc) are hugely more expensive here in Aus they are considered super affordable
To be honest Morgan, McoBeauty might dupe the highend brands, but they are competing with drugstore products, because if your budget allows you to buy highend, you buy it. ...if your budget only allows drugstore, thats what you buy, and maybe one highend product once a year as a special treat to yourself!! Which you will still buy.
I know many people might disagree with me here, but i don't mind the dupes from MCo. I hate it when someone dupes a small, indie company. Someone poured their heart, soul, and artistic ability into their creations, and it's totally shitty of a major corporation to come along and dupe it. But - and I could be wrong about this - I don't think the products created by major companies like Charlotte Tilbury, Glossier, or Drunk Elephant are the result of passion. I imagine these major corporations create products through market research on which colors and formulas are trending. Maybe they even have focus groups. I could be wrong here. Maybe there's a creative, artistic genius at Nars who is heartbroken to see dupes of the products they poured their vision into. If so, major corporations are fooling me.
You’re right. I hear this line everywhere ‘what about the poor designers who’s work is being duped?’ It’s such obvious spin doctoring, because that’s a lot more relatable than empathising with multimillion dollar consoantes who price gouge us
I use many of the Mco beauty brand products and find them better on my skin than the products they are duping for a lot less. Even high end products copy packaging sometimes.
This is pure click bait! You know MCo isn't a scam, having worked with them before and you've mentioned them a few times now. CLEARLY, NOT a scam. Very different to duping products which many companies do. Meh....
MCoBeauty has the advantage in Australia of being able to dupe many brands we can’t get. I really like the brand. I tend to buy all their new releases, but the trick is to never pay more than half price. Over here someone will have the line down to half price fairly regularly.
Thank you for doing this video comparison. I recently bought an MCo PR Box which includes several items. I bought it specifically for the Bronzing Drops. Can’t wait to try it!
I pick and choose Mcobeauty products when they’re half price. Their liquid foundations, pressed CT powder dupe, liquid &powder blushes, primers, lipliners are fabulous. But CT Lipsticks are better. The CT brow cheat is better and does refills. Mco brow pencils too dark and clunky. I mix brands all the time. Still so many Mcobeauty products am going to try. I’m not a fan of brands blatantly copying others. I don’t care if it’s cheaper, some staff worked on that at Charlotte Tilbury and didn’t just do it for others to steal the concept - I dont like it.
I’ve tried a few of the MCO products. I really like the eyebrow products I’ve tried, the eyebrow pencil which looks like the Kosas pencil and the 3 prone microblading ink pen. The Charlotte Tilbury lip chest liners dups are nice but don’t have the set down and lasting time of the originals. The little triangle puffs are good (I’m Australian)
CT would be unable to Sue, MCO team have dedicated lawyers to point out on a product which parts of a product is trademarked and which isnt, EG the Flawless filter - the Name Flawless Filter and the CT logo are the ONLY trademarked parts (including the formula) so all Mco had to do was change those 2 aspects and its all legal. MCO also are sold in completely different stores to the high end brands so customers would not get confused. MCO is all legal its just a Customers ethics if they think its okay and buy or not!. I buy from MCO as i live in New Zealand where the CT flawless filter is $92NZD where the MCO Dupe is $35NZD so the price is a big difference.
Revolution Beauty used to have a Revolution XX range that was meant to be a little more edgy but luxe at the same time. The range has these eyeshadow quads and one of them was _absolutely_ a dupe for Charlotte's original Pillow Talk quad. Mine has long since broken and they don't have that range anymore, so I hope that MCo adds a similar one.
Like others have pointed out, in NZ we’re paying ~$90 for Flawless filter.. if I can get the dupe for $20 on sale (or even $40 when it’s not) it’s a significant difference.
I totally get what you’re saying, but I think for people like me, with a fairly small budget for beauty, those few buck I saved allow me to get two products where I would normally only get one. Of course I’d RATHER get the original, but I can’t deny that it’s nice to get a bit more with the $ I’d spend for the original!! And for reference, I’m in the US and I LOVE high end and luxury makeup, but it’s a rare thing when I can splurge on it!!❤ Edit: I also want to say that it’s on sale for 50% off at Kroger right now. The whole line, I believe.
I have and wear the Hourglass Veil Tint foundation and the last year's Ambient pallet. I also have and wear Complexion Rescue foundation and the CR blush from bareminerals.
I ordered from MCo beauty months ago. They have some hits and misses. But worth looking at if you're 1:20 on an extreme budget. Just order online . They have a store for US customers.
Hey Morgan! Thanks for another great video! Could you tell us what that gray brush is that you use to blend? I couldn't find it in the description box. Thanks!
You would think, especially now that Benefit has sued ELF for their dupe. I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing more of these lawsuits in the future if Benefit’s suit ends up being successful.
The FDA is getting updated for makeup very soon & they are going to be cracking down on ingredients & putting out products. This will basically be the end of dupes because it’s going to have to be tested a lot more. This isn’t just for dupes it’s going to be all products in general so brands will probably not be putting out products every 2 weeks anymore
As someone who was cash strapped when I was younger I totally understand the desire for affordable alternatives to luxury, but I feel like there’s a line between that and the “superfake”equivalents like brands that make replica designer bags. This feels like the makeup equivalent of that territory 😅
agree but the price of the original products, they are made by 2 bucks. they could lower the price a little and still make millions. blame the brands not consumers for creating dupe brands because with skincare or makeup, the ingredients are /can be the same not like a handmade leather bag and one made by a child in a third world country made of plastic. some pricier brands still use the same fabrics as the dupe bags though.
First off, I am not a Charlotte Tilbury fan. I find her personality irritating, and until this year, all her products were too orange/yellow based for me. HOWEVER, this is not right. It's not just Charlotte -- there are a lot of chemists, artists, product engineers, etc. whose work is being ripped off. Those people work for a standard wage, and yet their work is getting exploited by MCO. I hope they get sued into oblivion.
They get paid for their work. They don’t own their designs, the brand they work for does. I have more empathy for cash strapped consumers than the mythical product designer who’s soo upset that Mco the package they designed. And I hear it all the time- I think that’s a PR line leaking out. I don’t trust anything anymore. Brands are not our friends.
I ha e a couple of the Mco products. I really love the Flawless glow and the blush drops. I mix the blush drops into the soft matte beauty wand. Love the color it gives. I actually got my stuff buy one get one free in San Diego, CA. I really want the lipsticks and lip liners.
All I see for "dupe" is same packaging and similar color (NOT) formula, quality, or ingredients. Obviously. That being said the original always looked softer, glowyer, less pigmentation where it counted and always blended easier. And let's talk about the price point of the dupe... I would much rather pay the very small difference in comparison or just buy the original in travel sizes. Just my opinion, of course.
Morgan does compare all those things. She is expert in makeup reviewing and has said how she doesn’t take the word dupe lightly. If she says she can’t tell a difference trust me you won’t be able to tell either. This is the same girl who took one look at ND I need a nude palette and went looks might turn similar on eyes something other reviewers noticed later on
Hey Morgan Can I just say you have some GREAT cheekbones girl!! Anyways I wanted to say I did a little experiment yesterday. I ordered the Charlotte tilbury airbrush pressed finishing powder and i also found the MCo Beauty pressed powder and tried them both on brand new powder puffs under my eyes and the MCo Beauty was close enough that I wasn't disappointed in my purchase Thanks for this review I really found it so helpful MCo has it going on!! Decided to pick up one of their moisturizers today because I'm nearly out of my favorite Dermalogica age smart moisturizer. Hopefully the MCo gel moisturizer doesn't break me out like some do as most of the Elf skin care breaks me out.
I think the blatant packaging/formula/color copy is too much and honestly tacky. I don’t have as much of an issue with just the formula and/or color duping, however. I’ve also just spent more money on the dupe instead of just getting the actual original before. At this point, I’ll save my pennies to get the original instead of a dupe that I have to guess the color match/formula on.
If anyone wants to know Amazon now has all of the MCo Beauty stuff and I'm excited to get my BumBum cream and mist dupes in the mail I love the products I've tried so far and love the fact that I can get very close dupes for half the price Especially that pressed powder it's very good
Morgan I keep searching for your Pat McGrath Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil video (though I have already seen it) to go back and decide which color I want to get, and I can't find the video! Is it gone/am I missing something? Thank you you're the best!
The Kevin Aucoin tubing mascara was kind of disappointing honestly. It didn't do enough for my lashes at all.. but of course, one plus, it was easy to take off at night.
Guys please please please stop using mcobeauty I've heard people using it getting breakouts and i myself used one of the lip oils and literally was getting pimples on my lips from 3-4 uses 😭😭
If I can find a dupe I like, i will buy it every time. Those big corporations don't care bout you, just your money. So called luxury brands simply have a higher price point, with more expensive marketing. They will pay premium prices for placement at the cosmetics counters in higher priced outlets. The cost is passed onto the consumer. Buy what you like, juat question why you're drawn to certain name brands.
They do the packaging like that só people know what they’re duping. It still says Mco. And it looks cute. What’s the problem? CT she’s the rat manipulate us all the time. They deserve it

I ordered from MCo beauty months ago. They have some hits and misses. But worth looking at if you're 1:20 on an extreme budget. Just order online . They have a store for US customers.
MCO lip liner is a dead ringer for pillow talk. Got it half price when I lost my CT original. Love it
I love it too..💗💄💋
Hey Morgan! Thanks for another great video! Could you tell us what that gray brush is that you use to blend? I couldn't find it in the description box. Thanks!
Yes! I would like to know this as well! It looks like it blends makeup out perfectly!
You should try the mco beauty dupes for sol de janeiro
I wonder if Mco will be sued for copying packaging
Same opinion!
Yes!!!
agree but the price of the original products, they are made by 2 bucks. they could lower the price a little and still make millions. blame the brands not consumers for creating dupe brands because with skincare or makeup, the ingredients are /can be the same not like a handmade leather bag and one made by a child in a third world country made of plastic. some pricier brands still use the same fabrics as the dupe bags though.
This is the same girl who took one look at ND I need a nude palette and went looks might turn similar on eyes something other reviewers noticed later on
@@hardevsingh6968 makes zero sense.
Guys random advice but if you’re ever in Asia or the indian subcontinent the linage lip glow lay balm are only $6 and the stepping mask is only 14$
I live in Singapore and the lip sleeping mask retails for SGD34 (USD25) here. So no real difference to Sephora US.
@@christie3776i took a trip to india and it was 690ruppes for the lipglowly balm I did the math
Hey Morgan
Can I just say you have some GREAT cheekbones girl!!
Anyways
I wanted to say I did a little experiment yesterday. I ordered the Charlotte tilbury airbrush pressed finishing powder and i also found the MCo Beauty pressed powder and tried them both on brand new powder puffs under my eyes and the MCo Beauty was close enough that I wasn't disappointed in my purchase
Thanks for this review I really found it so helpful
MCo has it going on!!

I m from syd aus always walk pass this stand 😁 but i will definitely try some of their products… thank you for your review 😚
Decided to pick up one of their moisturizers today because I'm nearly out of my favorite Dermalogica age smart moisturizer. Hopefully the MCo gel moisturizer doesn't break me out like some do as most of the Elf skin care breaks me out.
TYSM for comparing MCo products with CT ❤ ❤
I had never heard of them... But no, duping like that can't be legit in my opinion 😮
I don't own a product from Charlotte. I may try a dupe from MCO. The 1 elf CT dupe went into the trash.
i’ve only tried the nars afterglow lip balm dupe so far. it was nice..pretty much the same. still waiting on my kroger to receive it
I loveee glow lip balm from Mco. Lasts for a long time!
I think the Mco highlighters were trying to dupe the Laura Mercier liquid highlighters since they look a little lighter and less glowy
Calling the package duping tacky Congress off a bit elitist. We know it’s not the OG, but it’s something a bit exciting.
Can you do a top ingredient comparison on the skin cream pls❤
If anyone wants to know Amazon now has all of the MCo Beauty stuff and I'm excited to get my
BumBum cream and mist dupes in the mail
I love the products I've tried so far and love the fact that I can get very close dupes for half the price
Especially that pressed powder it's very good
All Mcobeauty is 50% off at Kroger until July 16.
Thank you for an interesting and useful video 😊
How does mco hold up in comparison to the originals? Im so curious for mco products but if im not mistake we dont have it here is Spain.
Morgan I keep searching for your Pat McGrath Dramatique Mega Lip Pencil video (though I have already seen it) to go back and decide which color I want to get, and I can't find the video! Is it gone/am I missing something? Thank you you're the best!
In AUSTRALIA it’s very cheap everyone is obsessed with it
The Kevin Aucoin tubing mascara was kind of disappointing honestly. It didn't do enough for my lashes at all.. but of course, one plus, it was easy to take off at night.
So I heard that CT PT lipstick component was copied from a vintage 1970’s lipstick component.
This MCO will be a good option for me.
So did the mco moisturizer break you out?
luckily this time no
I wonder about the ingredient differences. 🤔
Are their ingredients better since it's Aussie? Different standards?
lol no definitely not
I’m not for a company blatantly copying another.
I feel like their packaging should AT LEAST be different. Have some creativity. I’d sue them if I was charlotte tilbury lol.
That's the point!
They do the packaging like that só people know what they’re duping. It still says Mco. And it looks cute. What’s the problem? CT she’s the rat manipulate us all the time. They deserve it
this is too far for me lol
For dupes it’s really good quality
Gurl I didn't know that Charlotte Dobre had a make up line. 😂😂😂
I have been really enjoying MCObeauty, they are so good
As an Australian…. MCO beauty grinds my gears. But it’s worth it 50% off. I wouldn’t pay full price for it. The formulas are not anything special
As an Australian I’m proud that Mco is ‘ours’ i’m a consumer, im team consumer
I actually prefer the eco beauty side on you x
Great video Sister ❤
I can’t find the flawless filter from Mco.
I will never try this brand because I don’t support ripping off other companies. MCO has zero originality
I think u should tell us about durability on skin...I am in Australia...I was thinking was true charlote..hahaha..they I do think...is no that good...I tried.. yls concelear ..no way😂
The closest Kroger to me is 72 miles, bummer
And love your video's you're so pretty ❤❤❤
ily thank you!!!!
They raised the glow and bronzing drops to $32. At that point just get the drunk elephant for 38
I like trying a dupe.
They used to be in supermarket only, they are copycat and their products are not hood. They are always in sales here in Australia. Don’t support the brand that doesn’t have any creativity.
Hello beautiful Morgan 😍
I do like a good dupe don’t get me wrong, but this is a law suit waiting to happen.
I’m from Montgomery County, Maryland (MoCo) and I swear when I first saw MCO I was like yoooo someone made a beauty brand named MoCo and then realized it was MCO. Still see MoCo every time 😂🤦🏻♀️
Our Kroger quit selling this the complete display is gone
Yeah gotta be careful of the dupes and scams….
100 % better then elf..
This is not exactly a cheap alternative.
Possibly not in America when you have Elf. But in Austrália it’s usually 50% off and American products even elf are way more expensive
@@Wintermetal Interesting. Elf is so cheap here in the states but I find most of it is crap.
8 seconds 🎉🎉❤
Wow this was such a waste of time, clearly can tell she was trying to promote Drunk elephant to get free product ugh annoying
