@John McGuire, glad to hear that and thanks for playing.😊👍
This is where English is complicated especially for learners. I’ve explained this to my friends who learn English as a foreign language
Fact is that English is full of inconsistencies!
@@spaceace1006 That’s the understatement of the year! 😵💫
Check out this clip of Ricky and Lucy discussing language:
"Learning English: "Ough" is tough to figure out"
Day by day I learn new grammar and more! I love your page teachers! I'm really happy because of it!¡ thanks a lot. I got 10/10😀😀😃😀

15/15 ... I’m loving these tests
15/15. English is my fifth language (after Danish, my mother tongue, French, German and Swedish).
Fantastic job, Lisbeth Raun! 💯😍👍
Keep up the great work.
A possible plural for buffalo is buffalosers? And of course, in autumn, the leaves of a deciduous tree leave the tree. As for mouse - do you remember the Bugs Bunny cartoons where Elmer Fudd would say "I hate meeces to pieces"? Meeses was not a plural you offered.
15/15

Languages are like living beings: they need to be nourished/spoken/practised to survive and grow. Regardless your age, Silvia, you ought to be commended for wanting to improve your English!👏🌹
@@melstiller8561 Thank you so much. I have a passion for the English language. One of the first English books I started to Reader when I was 16 was the Lord of the Rings. I guess I have read it 30 times since then. Stay safe 😍

Nice one!😊👍
Glad you're getting value.
15/15!!! Many people make the mistake of using an asterisk to specify plural.
I've lost track of how many times I've seen "car's", " bone's", etc.
Great job, SpaceAce100. 😊👍🏅
You're right, SpaceAce100. I've seen a lot of people using an "apostrophe" to indicate "plural". For example, Paul and his friend's went to a party.
@SpaceAce 100. I know exactly what you mean. It really drives me crazy when so many people do that. My mother was a college English teacher and she taught me the easiest way to know when to use the apostrophe. There are only two cases when it's correct to use an apostrophe. The first example is when you're showing that one letter or two or more letters are missing. The second example is when you're showing the ownership of a person or animal or object. "She has Lynette's book" fits the second example.
14 out of15 I also miss aircraft thanx for test
Good job, Johanna! I'm glad you got value.😊👍
Aced it though a few of thrm I had tobtske a few seconds to think and I chose the correct one. Interestingly enough, I have heard quite a few people use many of these incorrect words.
The schools aren't giving enough teaching or emphasizing proper use ofvthr English language. It's the second most complex language in the world. It's second only to Chinese.
15/15 but you'd expect a young child to score the same.
14/15. I think it was good for a Swede.
