I am interested to know if any of you who listen to Tara have taken anti depressant medication to help you cope with difficult situations like loss of a sibling, trauma in life etc etc to hope that you can recover with mindfulness and meditation aswell?/

Patricia Chalmers I've gone through a lot of loss and trauma. I feel that recovery is possible at any age. A combination of meditation, mindfulness, medication, and therapy are all necessary but only really help if I there's a connection with others. It may seem incredibly difficult, but reach out, speak with a therapist, and keep searching until you connect with someone.

i feel that sometimes these talks are simplified and that some people cannot get into this space or mindset depending on what they are adealing with in their particular life situation. I wish it was so easy. I do get some of what Tara talks about.

This talk comes at a perfect time for me, Tara. I am turning 80 and it comes to me as a phenomenal surprise. Trying to stay in the now is really difficult for me because I have led a an adventurous life. Now arthritis slows me down and trying to find the joy in every moment is sometimes difficult. I wish you would tell us how to slow down and enjoy the moment. I have not been able to find that sweet spot yet
