This was a good game in 2000, I have good memories of playing it, hence watching this, but I agree that Crazy Taxi is better overall. Good review, thanks.
This was a great, honest review. This game had so much potential. For me, if the controls were better, I could overlook all the other faults. I still rate it a solid C or C+
I'm not familiar with this game at all. Cover art gives me Burnout vibes but the gameplay is far from that experience by the looks of things. Although the cutscenes did look like they border on "so bad it's good" territory
Yeah it's more like Wreckless if you ever played that, a series of missions with lots of destructive gameplay. It definitely caught me off guard seeing the cutscenes for the first time, bearing in mind it came out the same year as Shenmue!
Love the series but agree with you on this, the extra power should have made for a better game. Would be lovely to see a new console with games focusing on arcade fun. Right, Sega? ;)
Drving game doesn't nail driving? That's a shame. Crazy physics would be a good laugh as some kind of cheat option, but otherwise will take you right out of the game. Good vid, sir!
It's not good is it? As you say, floaty physics would be fun as a cheat, but when you're trying to do a timed objective, it's less than ideal. Thank you! ^_^
Those graphics... Like, this is on the same system that has Crazy Taxi and San Francisco Rush 2049, so what happened here!? I'm gonna play this just to see how bad it is. Although, nothing will EVER top Big Rigs!

It's a shame, could've been fun with the setup but too flawed. Thank you!

Looks closer to that diehard game than anything. Specifically the driving portion of it.
Man that draw distance, it's way to harsh and noticable!
Yeah it was pretty noticeable even for a game from 2000.
Eh, Tbh it has a better draw distance than Crazy Taxi but I still love Crazy Taxi way more!

Its a bit disappointing, considering. Yes please!

Oh it's not broken completely like Big Rigs, but yeah, it's not quite up to snuff. Crazy Taxi is infinitely better :D
