About the lights, i lived in Japan with my boyfriend in a place called "Yoshimachi", it is pretty rural and yeah, everyone had to go out with flashlights and only the konbini illuminitad part of the main street, the place and the apato in the game actually reminds me a lot of my time living there, it was also pretty scary and i had many nightmares about yuurei looking through the only window our apato had, one of them clearly died in a snow storm, i lived in a city in Peru with no snow so it was pretty weird that just when i moved to a town where it snowed my first nightmare was about a person who died frozen, it wasn't even snowing yet. Japan is beautiful but is also terrifying.
