When I first saw that "take a thousand naked pictures of yourself" scene, I thought of it only as a funny line spoken by a self obsessed character. But now I realize that's very sage advice. Every day we crib about our problems (including our bodies) only to look back at them several years later, wondering how we failed to appreciate just how good we had it. Moira Rose is more intelligent than anyone gives her credit for.
Its like cherish this moment now. Live freely and enjoy the day. Once you're old those memories linger and will make you smile at some point. Make stupid things today and laugh later.

When I was a teenager, I refused to have my picture taken and deleted most photos with me in them. Now I wish I hadn't. Not only for me (although maybe mostly for me) but also for people who love me to look back on and remember. I think as humans we desire to be seen, known, loved, valued, understood, and remembered.

Agreed. I think Patrick balances him out and together, they would make great parents. I hope Dan and Eugene decide to do a Schitt's Creek movie in a few years with one of the story lines being David and Patrick taking on parenthood.

Schitts Creek is hands down my favorite show EVER!!! Even turned my husband on to it and he actually asked “is it weird that this has sky rocketed into my top 3 shows? Only to be beat by Game of Thrones and one subway series game from the early 90’s when the Mets destroyed the Yankees.” Yes, we are avid Rose lovers!!!!
I just recently got to the end of season 5 and I ADORE this show. THANKYOU for these compilations, they are wonderful. :D
if there would be some kind of one-off episode, I'd like to see alexis and ted back together and all the family members go back to schitt's creek to visit david and patrick🙂

So many wonderful moments in this show. Some real life lessons for the characters and the viewers. This show demands re-watching. The relationship between the Rose Family and the towns people is touching and you can see their characters evolve.
I've never ever been so incredibly moved by a tv show!! To watch the characters grow was my favorite part!
