When I saw it, I knew what Dave was gonna say, I'm crying right now, after hearing Dave say "the unknown fact" multiple times, I think he deserves all the trolls he falls into, I wish Carl would make another desert level.

Amanda saying smack that axe is cathartic. The amount of times I've sat here watching a creator play around at the end instead of finishing and just being like "GOOOOOOO. DO NOT WAIT. GOOOOOO" is too dang high.

While standing around the water cooler the other day I overheard a coworker talking about his kid who overheard on the playground that when you're playing Mario Maker 2 if you crouch while wearing the Goomba helmet you walk at the exact same speed as the other Goombas🤷♂️

Did _you_ know that you don't _need_ the Goomba Mask to walk the same speed as a Goomba? All you need to do is hold down. The Mask does help compare speed though since, unless they're summoned by a Magic Koopa, Goombas chase you in 3D World.

@@jdotoz no, what I'm saying is that "if you crouch walk _at all_ in 3D World, you walk the same speed as a Goomba." The Mask just makes it more obvious. I'm pretty sure most enemies walk the same speed anyway so you could replace "Goomba Mask" and "Goomba" with any player variation and enemy respectively and it would be just as correct. Note: I said "walk" and "enemy" so bosses and things that don't walk don't count.

Hey Dave, did you know that when you crouch and walk with a Goomba hat on, you walk at the same speed as a Goomba? That's a pretty unkwon fact! Somebody could use that mechanic and build a whole level around it, maybe in honor of you Bean Burrito series, maybe they should call it "Bean Burrito: Line at the DMV", what do you think?

That is most definitely an opinion about Skyward Sword lol. I absolutely loved the combat controls. I still haven't decided if I like BoTW better, but up until then, Skyward Sword was my favorite also.
My dog went berserk when she heard Amanda in the background. I guess she likes her more than Dave!

After listening to the death tune a bunch of times, I had an epiphany. There is a nonzero chance that someone was playing Mario. And another person passed away in that same room at the same time Mario died in the game. Making it the last thing the person heard before they died.
Can't wait for nintendo to rip this masterpiece apart.

The controls for skyward sword did not really bother me (the directional swings COULD be a bit annoying, but it was fine otherwise) The problem was that it would not let you solve puzzles. It freaking TOLD YOU THE ANSWERS, half the time before you even reached the puzzle... Also, the ridiculous amount of travel that was seen in most of the later games. OoT had a bit of a problem with that with the central plains, but Wind Waker is where THAT crap really took off...

Dave, Skyward Sword is a beautiful game if you grew up with it and/or forced yourself to get through its entirety. Probably my top 3 favourite video games of all time.
And yes I’ve played many other Zelda games, Majora’s Mask is my second favourite.
Dave's disappointment with Skyward Sword lowered his expectations for the future Zelda games. He was so hyped for SS that it's gonna be the hottest game of the year but it left him disappointed.
