G'day Lachlan, nice video on the Walhalla Goldfields Railway. I also enjoyed your recent video of Puffing Billy and it's a great idea to promote the railway in your own way. Good on you mate.
The Moe to Walhalla line was opened in 1910 as one of Victoria's four narrow gauge railways, it was built to service the gold mining town of Walhalla however the gold rush had finished since the gold ran out and like all the other narrow-gauge lines it carried mostly timber and potatoes. The motive power on the line were both the NA class and G class, 7A, 12A and G42 used to work on the line until its closure in 1954, 7A had the honor of pulling the last train to Erica due to G42 being too stubborn to leave the shed. However, in later years when people saw its tourist potential the Walhalla Goldfields railway was formed, and they've been running it ever since. It is predominantly a diesel railway, but it has seen host to a couple of steam visitors such as 7A in 2010.
When you got in the cab of the diesel locomotive Kasey, it reminds me of when I had cab rides at Puffing Billy as well. I also went to the Walhalla Goldfields Railway and the scenery was extraordinary.
    keep your steam up Lachlan.
    cheers
    Kevig
