I don't even have any anthurium but this has been so exciting to follow along with! Looking forward to seeing how these babies do! You're an incredible plant momma, Melissa!
This was SO interesting Melissa! Thank you for taking the time to explain this process. I have always wondered what the heck all of this is…….So awesome! I cannot wait to see what the outcome is! Did I hear right that you were a nurse before youtube? If you were I bet you were a great one!!!
I hope I explained okay haha, definitely not that knowledgeable about them. Yes! I'm still a nurse! Just not working as one right now but still keeping my license active. I did bedside for 10 years and thank you 🥹
Thank you!! I saw some little roots on a couple seeds earlier today when I was checking on them. I'm not sure how long it will take for them to germinate but so excited to see how it goes!
Wow, Plantologist Extraordinaire skills on full display, awesome! Very educational, I’m sure even Burpee Seed Company learned a lot by watching. I felt a kinship with George Washington Carver after watching. Incredible.
That is awesome. I pollinated my cactus and it has a lot of seeds on it. Looked like your cat wanted to get in the video even if it was just its tail. 😂
I don't have an anthurium but this is very interesting! And very exciting for you I bet. Makes me want to get an aetherium a couple so I can try it....❤
Great video!! I followed a similar process and think I have Forgetti x Clarinervium babies coming! It’s only been a few months but Forgetti harvest sooner than others. 💚 🤗 Can’t wait for your updates!

I do plant updates on my collection every couple of months! I have a separate playlist those are saved in. The last one was in December and I go around and show updates on everything. Most of them survived and I think all would have if I didn't put so many seeds into one pod but I had sooo much.
oh yes all the babies are growing away and I'm selling them on my site now in batches. I featured them in my plant update videos I do every couple of months.
I had pollen from Anthurium Crystallinum it was in my fridge for 2 years my friend magnificum flower and we cross it thinking i y wont produce due to the fact the pollen was 2 yrs old guess what it works so as long you pollen is good the date wont matter
It’s so crazy how many seeds can come out of just one inflorescence sometimes right?! I pollinated my anthurium Dorayaki with Forgetii last December and all 370 of them survived 😵😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫.
