      My yearly trip up to the haliburton forest is coming up in like a month father's day weekend me and my brother and my wife are heading up for 4days. Love it there such a beautiful spot. Think it should be one of the top 5 destinations in Canada 🇨🇦

    Nice video Gary. Feels great to take that first ride. A little mishap but no one was hurt and easily replaced. One thing with snowmobiling. It not if you going to have something like that happen, it’s when. Ride safe and happy trails!

    • @robertblair3593
      @robertblair3593 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The 2023 Ski Doos are hard to gauge when seeing them in a magazine or in a video. I recently was at my local dealer and the sleds just blew me away. No comparison seeing them in person

    • @mudbrats
      @mudbrats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Every time skidoo launches, there are memes about the look. Remember the Daffy Duck when the Gen4 first came out. Likely starts with Polaris or Arctic Cat riders.

    Love the drone footage at the end! Felt bad for the lady on the Polaris. First rides of the year you have to go slow and I blame the guys with her as well. Most ladies in our group don't ride with us anymore because they feel like they're always riding by themselves and feel bad for holding everyone up. It can be a hard balance between riders skilsets and how you want to ride while keeping everyone safe.

    • @coreybrock6333

      They worst part is she was just a kid.. I went back to find her dad and he was so far ahead actually ticked me off.. like come on it’s your daughter you don’t look back often to make sure she’s ok

    • @arthurbatti9854
      @arthurbatti9854 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a basic speed you need to maintain on the trails, if you are not ready you don’t belong.

      @coreybrock6333 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@arthurbatti9854 she wasn’t going to fast she went to far off the side of the trail and it was basically a ditch and sucked her in..

      Agreed with you and that is why I use communicators with my son riding

    • @robertreinhart7557
      @robertreinhart7557 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Back when my son and daughter were 12/14 years old I would be the guy slowing down the group to keep my kids riding at a safe speed until I felt I could trust them more on their own.
      Side note. Either Wisconsin or in the Upper Michigan area last weekend, a 13 year old girl died just trying to move over for oncoming sleds when she went a little too far and the snow sucked her into a tree. They were from Missouri I think. You wonder how much seat time she really had as well.

    Ahhh Ski-doo. One of the few brands that makes it through break in without needing a recall to prevent your sled bursting into flames and burning down your garage and house. Looking at your Polaris.....

      @youareright5431 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    How efficient are those small windshields?

    • @jasoncampeau2948
      @jasoncampeau2948 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are cold, I’m going to assume

    • @mudbrats
      @mudbrats  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I prefer the small windshield in the cold. The medium Renegade stock windshield mine came with last year, funnelled air right into your shoulders, neck and face. After a day of riding in the -40º in Kirkland Lake last year I said never again, wen to the low and never looked back. This one is a bit higher than the old XRS Bikini but seems to work great.

    • @mudbrats
      @mudbrats  ปีที่แล้ว
