i have 2011 japanese chand alto which has K6A engine. it needs engine replacement . should i swap it with R06A engine which came in later models Alto and more economical or stick to K6A engine . i need expert opinion.

Dear after assembly of new engine you didn't share the driving experience in detail either Japanese are mad to install 1k engine instead of 1300cc or 1500cc?
Initially you mentioned about changing gear box as well but later it isn't clear if u kept old gear box or changed that to new gear box as well!! Original Japanese 1NR Vitz 1.3 came with 4 speed CVT while local Yaris 1NR 1.3 has 7 speed CVT.
@@rashidmanais4752 Pakistan doesn't make local engines. 1NR in Vitz or local Yaris is supposed to be same. It's only the difference of CVT that exists between the two. I assume Japanese 4 Speed CVT gearbox or local 7 Speed CVT gearbox both are compatible with 1NR. From the video it seems like they mated already present Vitz 4 Speed CVT to newly replaced 1.3 1NR engine. Still I am curious if it would be more beneficial to replace the CVT too!!

yar 1NR-FE with auto transmission (model came with local Corolla), can it be installed in suzuki khyber ??? i have seen 1NR-FE manual gives very good fuel average in corolla (in both karachi city approx 14km and highway 17/18km). khyber is lighter (750kg) car as compared to corolla (1250kg). so we wont face the under power issue that we face in corolla 1.3 automatic.

i have the same model (1 kr) vitz, the only problem which i am facing is that the car is reducing oil. however, there is no smoke, no vibration in the engine. please help me out why is it reducing the oil.
If it reduces less than 1/2 point on the dip stick in 3000kms, that's still fine. I have same model with 170k kms on odometer and it reduces half dip stick after 3000. I use 10w 40 and do not plan to move to 20 50. Try to change oil earlier if possible. It helps as well
Till initial 2014 models Vitz had this issue of reducing oil. Sold one 240k driven Vitz with same issue from day one but kept on using 5w-30 oil, topped it up at 2000 km and changed at 4000 km.
AFTER SWAP OF ENGINE I HAVE EXPERIENCED EXCESSIVE WEAR OF TYRES LUG , MISALGINEMENT AND SO MUCH OTHER ISSUES. 0EM KNOWS BETTER FOR SELECTION OF ENGINE OF ANY VEHICLES.
I have Se Saloon corolla 2005 M/T......It's in good condition but the issue is on highways on 120km/h the rpm goest to 3600 3800...which is not comfortable...can 6 forward M/T Gear be fitted in this model as of 1.6 2012 6 speed forward...or anyother solution?

Yes .. but need to import complete wiring ECU from UK variant , our vitzs 2nd gen here are not equipped with CAN communication.

i've shifted from 10w 40 to 20w50 plus STP, now it does not reduce oil anymore. but i doubt 20w50 oil and STP is not good for 1000 cc engine
