- In this video we make a balance bike as a present, using only basic tools. The materials are from an old bike laying around and some scrap plywood.

I had literally just showed my Wife another balance bike which looked more like a motorcycle that I liked, but when she saw this she downloaded the plans you posted and took off for Staples to get a full size copy based on a couple of childrens bikes we still have in the attic - and then told me to meet her at Home Depot to see what "WE" will need to build two of them; my grand daughter is about to have twin boys in Texas and she said I should get going on them now so they will be done by the time they are three - I am NOT that slow, honest, but I do have everything I need to build them in my shop and the attic and told her I think "WE" have everything "WE" will need for now, and it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun for "US" to build together.
Thank you for a great project and another honey-do to do for my Wife's bucket list. LMAO on this one, cause I did not see it coming.
At least the plans are very nice - she came back a few minutes ago with TWO sets of plans in hand, in cae one gets lost.
Got to go, duty calls.

The round disks you mean? This is a aluminium sheet +/- 3mm thick
